先知之徒、告以利沙曰、爾我偕居、其室甚隘、容我往約但、各取材木、創建一所以居。曰、往哉。曰、請爾與我偕往。曰、可。遂與偕往、至約但砍木。有人砍樹、釜斤之鐵已脫、而墜於水、則呼曰、惜哉、我主與、釜乃貸諸他人者。上帝之僕曰、墜於何所、人示其處、則削片木投水、鐵浮出。曰、取之、乃取焉。○

我素行、乃爾所知、當是則是效、我在爾中、未嘗無度、亦非素餐、惟是勞苦、晝夜操作、無累一人、非不能使爾供我、第為是模楷、欲爾曹則傚、

乃自力作、供我與從者之需、此爾所知、

抑我及巴拿巴、非得不工而食乎、

兄弟當念我勞苦、晝夜工作、不累爾一人、以傳上帝福音、

為其業幕同藝、遂與合作、
