Simon Peter told them,“ I am going fishing.”“ We will go with you,” they replied. They went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing.

Simon answered,“ Master, we worked hard all night and caught nothing! But at your word I will lower the nets.”

and so were James and John, Zebedee’s sons, who were Simon’s business partners. Then Jesus said to Simon,“ Do not be afraid; from now on you will be catching people.”So when they had brought their boats to shore, they left everything and followed him.

As he was walking by the Sea of Galilee he saw two brothers, Simon( called Peter) and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea( for they were fishermen).He said to them,“ Follow me, and I will turn you into fishers of people.”They left their nets immediately and followed him.

So neither the one who plants counts for anything, nor the one who waters, but God who causes the growth.

Some of the prophets said to Elisha,“ Look, the place where we meet with you is too cramped for us.Let’s go to the Jordan. Each of us will get a log from there and we will build a meeting place for ourselves there.” He said,“ Go.”One of them said,“ Please come along with your servants.” He replied,“ All right, I’ll come.”So he went with them. When they arrived at the Jordan, they started cutting down trees.As one of them was felling a log, the ax head dropped into the water. He shouted,“ Oh no, my master! It was borrowed!”The prophet asked,“ Where did it drop in?” When he showed him the spot, Elisha cut off a branch, threw it in at that spot, and made the ax head float.He said,“ Lift it out.” So he reached out his hand and grabbed it.

For you know yourselves how you must imitate us, because we did not behave without discipline among you,and we did not eat anyone’s food without paying. Instead, in toil and drudgery we worked night and day in order not to burden any of you.It was not because we do not have that right, but to give ourselves as an example for you to imitate.

You yourselves know that these hands of mine provided for my needs and the needs of those who were with me.

Or do only Barnabas and I lack the right not to work?

For you recall, brothers and sisters, our toil and drudgery: By working night and day so as not to impose a burden on any of you, we preached to you the gospel of God.

and because he worked at the same trade, he stayed with them and worked with them( for they were tentmakers by trade).
