先知徒謂以利沙曰、我與爾同居之處、狹隘太甚、求爾容我往約但、各取材木、在彼建室以居、曰、往哉、或曰、求爾與僕偕往、曰、我往、遂與俱往、至約但伐木、一人斫木時、斧脫柯墜於水、呼曰、惜哉、我主歟、此乃貸於人者、上帝僕曰、墜於何所、遂示其處、則斬木投水、鐵上浮、曰、爾其取之、遂伸手取之、○

爾自知當如何效我、蓋我未嘗妄行於爾中、亦未嘗素餐於人、乃以勞以苦、晝夜操作、免累爾中一人、非我無權、第自為模楷、俾爾效我、

乃此二手嘗供我、及偕我者之需、爾所知也、

抑我及巴拿巴、獨無權不操作乎、

兄弟乎、爾念我勞苦、晝夜操作、免累爾中一人、以宣上帝福音於爾、

以同藝故、遂偕居工作、其藝蓋製幕也、
