As he was walking along the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon( who is called Peter), and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the sea— for they were fishermen.“ Follow me,” he told them,“ and I will make you fish for people.”Immediately they left their nets and followed him.

So, then, neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.

For you yourselves know how you should imitate us: We were not idle among you;we did not eat anyone’s food free of charge; instead, we labored and toiled, working night and day, so that we would not be a burden to any of you.It is not that we don’t have the right to support, but we did it to make ourselves an example to you so that you would imitate us.

You yourselves know that I worked with my own hands to support myself and those who are with me.

Or do only Barnabas and I have no right to refrain from working?

For you remember our labor and hardship, brothers and sisters. Working night and day so that we would not burden any of you, we preached God’s gospel to you.
