耶穌顧門徒、責彼得曰、撒但退、爾不體上帝情、乃人之情耳、○遂呼眾與門徒、曰、欲為我徒、則當克己、負十字架以從、凡欲救生命者、反喪之、為我及福音而喪生命者、必救之、利盡天下、而失生命者、何益之有、人將以何者易生命乎、當此姦惡之世、恥我及我道者、人子以父榮、偕聖使臨時、亦必恥其人矣、

又曰、人子必備受害、為長老、祭司諸長、士子所棄、且見殺、三日復生、○亦謂眾曰、欲為吾徒、則當克己、日負十字架以從、凡欲救其生命者、反喪之、為我而喪生命者、必救之、利盡天下、而自喪亡者、何益之有、凡恥我及我道者、人子以己與父、及聖使之榮臨時、亦必恥其人、

撒母耳曰、毋畏、汝雖嘗行是惡、今而後勿違耶和華、必盡心以服事之。

自是、耶穌示門徒、以己必往耶路撒冷、備受長老、祭司諸長、士子之害、且見殺、三日復生、彼得援而止之曰、主、不可、願勿有此、耶穌顧彼得曰、撒但、退、爾阻我、以爾不體上帝之情、乃人之情耳、耶穌語門徒曰、欲為我徒、則當克己、負十字架以從、欲救生命、者、反喪之、為我而喪生命者、反得之、

傳道者佩上帝明詔、共事者、賴上帝賜力、凡事因耶穌基督、讚美上帝、願榮光權力歸之、永世靡暨、凡我良朋、勿異爾所歷之煉試、以為非常、當喜共基督受苦、則基督顯榮時、爾歡欣鼓舞可知也、爾為基督名見詬、則有福矣、煥乎上帝之神牖爾衷、人謗讟基督、而爾稱讚之、

於是耶穌素言將死之狀應矣、

役於我者、當從我、我所在、吾役亦在、役於我者、父必貴之、○

耶穌曰我誠告爾、爾曹從我、至復興之際、人子坐榮位、爾亦坐十二位、審以色列十二支派矣、

惟我僕迦勒、不同於眾、恆從乎我、故所往之地、必賜之人、遺於子孫。
