When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter,“ Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?”“ Yes, Lord,” he said,“ you know that I love you.” Jesus said,“ Feed my lambs.”

When Jesus and the disciples had finished eating, Jesus spoke to Simon Peter. He asked,“ Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these others do?”“ Yes, Lord,” he answered.“ You know that I love you.” Jesus said,“ Feed my lambs.”

When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter,“ Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?” He said to him,“ Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.” He said to him,“ Feed my lambs.”

After breakfast Jesus asked Simon Peter,“ Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?”“ Yes, Lord,” Peter replied,“ you know I love you.”“ Then feed my lambs,” Jesus told him.

We love, because he first loved us.

Now we that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

whom not having seen ye love; on whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice greatly with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that one died for all, therefore all died;and he died for all, that they that live should no longer live unto themselves, but unto him who for their sakes died and rose again.

Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ with a love incorruptible.

And there is no creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

But him that is weak in faith receive ye, yet not for decision of scruples.

He will feed his flock like a shepherd, he will gather the lambs in his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and will gently lead those that have their young.

Be diligent in these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy progress may be manifest unto all.Take heed to thyself, and to thy teaching. Continue in these things; for in doing this thou shalt save both thyself and them that hear thee.

Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I came forth and am come from God; for neither have I come of myself, but he sent me.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith working through love.

That disciple therefore whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. So when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his coat about him( for he was naked), and cast himself into the sea.

Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is begotten of God: and whosoever loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

Take heed unto yourselves, and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit hath made you bishops, to feed the church of the Lord which he purchased with his own blood.

But Peter said unto him, Although all shall be offended, yet will not I.

He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

See that ye despise not one of these little ones: for I say unto you, that in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father who is in heaven.

Jesus saith unto them, Come and break your fast. And none of the disciples durst inquire of him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.

He chose David also his servant, And took him from the sheepfolds:From following the ewes that have their young he brought him, To be the shepherd of Jacob his people, and Israel his inheritance.So he was their shepherd according to the integrity of his heart, And guided them by the skilfulness of his hands.

And he said unto him, My lord knoweth that the children are tender, and that the flocks and herds with me have their young: and if they overdrive them one day, all the flocks will die.

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar- Jonah: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father who is in heaven.

And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.

And I will give you shepherds according to my heart, who shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

Remember now, O Jehovah, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.

He brought him unto Jesus. Jesus looked upon him, and said, Thou art Simon the son of John: thou shalt be called Cephas( which is by interpretation, Peter).

Peter saith unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee even now? I will lay down my life for thee.

He saith to him again a second time, Simon, son of John, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Tend my sheep.He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of John, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

But Peter answered and said unto him, If all shall be offended in thee, I will never be offended.

Peter saith unto him, Even if I must die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples.
