So the other disciples were saying to him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ Unless I see in His hands the imprint of the nails, and put my finger into the place of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.”

其他门徒告诉他：“我们看见主了！”可是多马说：“除非我亲眼看见祂手上的钉痕，用手摸到祂手上的钉痕和祂的肋旁，否则我决不信。”

其他的门徒对他说：“我们已经见过主了。”多马对他们说：“除非我亲眼看见他手上的钉痕，用我的指头探入那钉痕，又用我的手探入他的肋旁，我决不相信。”

后来，其他的门徒就告诉他：“我们看到主了！”他却说：“我如果不看到他手上的钉痕，把指头放进那钉痕，再把手放进他的肋旁，我就绝不相信！”

眾門徒告之曰、我儕已見主矣、多瑪曰、我若不見其手中釘跡、不以指探其釘跡、不以手探其脅、則不信也、

他徒爰告之曰：『吾儕已曾見主。』而多默應曰：『吾非目睹其手中釘蹟、非吾親探其釘穴、非吾親手撫其肋孔、吾決不輕信。』

So the other disciples told him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”

So they told him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ First I must see the nail marks in his hands. I must put my finger where the nails were. I must put my hand into his side. Only then will I believe.”

So the other disciples told him,“ We have seen the Lord.” But he said to them,“ Unless I see in his hands the mark of the nails, and place my finger into the mark of the nails, and place my hand into his side, I will never believe.”

They told him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he replied,“ I won’t believe it unless I see the nail wounds in his hands, put my fingers into them, and place my hand into the wound in his side.”

So the other disciples were telling him,“ We’ve seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ If I don’t see the mark of the nails in his hands, put my finger into the mark of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will never believe.”

The other disciples therefore said to him,“ We have seen the Lord.” So he said to them,“ Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.”

The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.

So the other disciples kept telling him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ If I don’t see the mark of the nails in His hands, put my finger into the mark of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will never believe!”

The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.

The other disciples told him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he replied,“ Unless I see the wounds from the nails in his hands, and put my finger into the wounds from the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will never believe it!”

The other disciples therefore said to him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ Unless I see in his hands the print of the nails, put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”

And when they heard that He was alive and had been seen by her, they refused to believe it.

So they said to Him,“ What then are You doing as a sign, so that we may see, and believe You? What work are You performing?

He first* found his own brother Simon and* said to him,“ We have found the Messiah”( which translated means Christ).

They forgot God their Savior, Who had done great things in Egypt,Wonders in the land of Ham, And awesome things by the Red Sea.Therefore He said that He would destroy them, If Moses, His chosen one, had not stood in the gap before Him, To turn away His wrath from destroying them.Then they rejected the pleasant land; They did not believe His word,

In spite of all this they still sinned And did not believe in His wonderful works.

And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who were disobedient?And so we see that they were not able to enter because of unbelief.Therefore, we must fear if, while a promise remains of entering His rest, any one of you may seem to have come short of it.For indeed we have had good news preached to us, just as they also did; but the word they heard did not benefit them, because they were not united with those who listened with faith.

But My righteous one will live by faith; And if he shrinks back, My soul has no pleasure in him.But we are not among those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith for the safekeeping of the soul.

Do not harden your hearts as at Meribah, As on the day of Massah in the wilderness,“ When your fathers put Me to the test, They tested Me, though they had seen My work.For forty years I was disgusted with that generation, And said they are a people who err in their heart, And they do not know My ways.

And then He said to them,“ You foolish men and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!

Take care, brothers and sisters, that there will not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God.

Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved* said to Peter,“ It is the Lord!” So when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment( for he was stripped for work), and threw himself into the sea.

They forgot His deeds And His miracles that He had shown them.He performed wonders before their fathers In the land of Egypt, in the field of Zoan.He divided the sea and caused them to pass through, And He made the waters stand up like a heap.Then He led them with the cloud by day And all the night with a light of fire.He split the rocks in the wilderness And gave them plenty to drink like the ocean depths.He brought forth streams from the rock And made waters run down like rivers.Yet they still continued to sin against Him, To rebel against the Most High in the desert.And in their heart they put God to the test By asking for food that suited their taste.Then they spoke against God; They said,“ Can God prepare a table in the wilderness?Behold, He struck the rock so that waters gushed out, And streams were overflowing; Can He also provide bread? Will He prepare meat for His people?”Therefore the Lord heard and was full of wrath; And a fire was kindled against Jacob, And anger also mounted against Israel,Because they did not believe in God And did not trust in His salvation.

When she had said this, she turned around and* saw Jesus standing there, and yet she did not know that it was Jesus.Jesus* said to her,“ Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?” Thinking that He was the gardener, she* said to Him,“ Sir, if you have carried Him away, tell me where you put Him, and I will take Him away.”Jesus* said to her,“ Mary!” She turned and* said to Him in Hebrew,“ Rabboni!”( which means, Teacher).Jesus* said to her,“ Stop clinging to Me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to My brothers and say to them,‘ I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and My God and your God.’ ”Mary Magdalene* came and announced to the disciples,“ I have seen the Lord,” and that He had said these things to her.Now when it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and when the doors were shut where the disciples were together due to fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst, and* said to them,“ Peace be to you.”And when He had said this, He showed them both His hands and His side. The disciples then rejoiced when they saw the Lord.

and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.After that He appeared to more than five hundred brothers and sisters at one time, most of whom remain until now, but some have fallen asleep;then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles;and last of all, as to one untimely born, He appeared to me also.

God raised Him up on the third day and granted that He be revealed,not to all the people, but to witnesses who had been chosen beforehand by God, that is, to us who ate and drank with Him after He arose from the dead.

The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom you put to death by hanging Him on a cross.He is the one whom God exalted to His right hand as a Prince and a Savior, to grant repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.And we are witnesses of these things; and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey Him.”

The Pharisees and Sadducees came up, and putting Jesus to the test, they asked Him to show them a sign from heaven.But He replied to them,“ When it is evening, you say,‘ It will be fair weather, for the sky is red.’And in the morning,‘ There will be a storm today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ You know how to discern the appearance of the sky, but are you unable to discern the signs of the times?An evil and adulterous generation wants a sign; and so a sign will not be given to it, except the sign of Jonah.” And He left them and went away.

saying,“ The Lord has really risen and has appeared to Simon!”They began to relate their experiences on the road, and how He was recognized by them at the breaking of the bread.Now while they were telling these things, Jesus Himself suddenly stood in their midst and* said to them,“ Peace be to you.”But they were startled and frightened, and thought that they were looking at a spirit.And He said to them,“ Why are you frightened, and why are doubts arising in your hearts?See My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself; touch Me and see, because a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you plainly see that I have.”And when He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet.While they still could not believe it because of their joy and astonishment, He said to them,“ Have you anything here to eat?”

“ He saved others; He cannot save Himself! He is the King of Israel; let Him now come down from the cross, and we will believe in Him.

If I called and He answered me, I could not believe that He was listening to my voice.
