他徒爰告之曰：『吾儕已曾見主。』而多默應曰：『吾非目睹其手中釘蹟、非吾親探其釘穴、非吾親手撫其肋孔、吾決不輕信。』

那些门徒就对他说：“我们已经看见主了。”多马却说：“我非看见他手上的钉痕，用指头探入那钉痕，又用手探入他的肋旁，我总不信。”

其他的门徒就对他说：“我们已经看见主了。”多马却对他们说：“除非我看见他手上的钉痕，用我的指头探入那钉痕，用我的手探入他的肋旁，我绝不信。”

其他的门徒就对他说：“我们已经看见主了。”多马却对他们说：“除非我看见他手上的钉痕，用我的指头探入那钉痕，用我的手探入他的肋旁，我绝不信。”

其他门徒告诉他：“我们看见主了！”可是多马说：“除非我亲眼看见祂手上的钉痕，用手摸到祂手上的钉痕和祂的肋旁，否则我决不信。”

其他的门徒对他说：“我们已经见过主了。”多马对他们说：“除非我亲眼看见他手上的钉痕，用我的指头探入那钉痕，又用我的手探入他的肋旁，我决不相信。”

后来，其他的门徒就告诉他：“我们看到主了！”他却说：“我如果不看到他手上的钉痕，把指头放进那钉痕，再把手放进他的肋旁，我就绝不相信！”

那些門徒就對他說：「我們已經看見主了。」多馬卻說：「我非看見他手上的釘痕，用指頭探入那釘痕，又用手探入他的肋旁，我總不信。」

眾門徒告之曰、我儕已見主矣、多瑪曰、我若不見其手中釘跡、不以指探其釘跡、不以手探其脅、則不信也、

So the other disciples told him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”

So they told him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ First I must see the nail marks in his hands. I must put my finger where the nails were. I must put my hand into his side. Only then will I believe.”

So the other disciples told him,“ We have seen the Lord.” But he said to them,“ Unless I see in his hands the mark of the nails, and place my finger into the mark of the nails, and place my hand into his side, I will never believe.”

They told him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he replied,“ I won’t believe it unless I see the nail wounds in his hands, put my fingers into them, and place my hand into the wound in his side.”

So the other disciples were telling him,“ We’ve seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ If I don’t see the mark of the nails in his hands, put my finger into the mark of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will never believe.”

So the other disciples were saying to him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ Unless I see in His hands the imprint of the nails, and put my finger into the place of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.”

The other disciples therefore said to him,“ We have seen the Lord.” So he said to them,“ Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.”

The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.

So the other disciples kept telling him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ If I don’t see the mark of the nails in His hands, put my finger into the mark of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will never believe!”

The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.

The other disciples told him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he replied,“ Unless I see the wounds from the nails in his hands, and put my finger into the wounds from the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will never believe it!”

The other disciples therefore said to him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ Unless I see in his hands the print of the nails, put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”

徒聞耶穌復活、且為所見、初不之信。

眾曰：『汝有何靈徵、使我見而信之乎？汝亦何所務乎？

安得烈先遇其弟西門、而告之曰：『吾儕已遇美使。』美使之為言、基督也。

遽忘恩主。威靈顯赫。震威敵邦。耀德邯域。紅海之事。應猶歷歷。哀哉冥頑。獨不知憶。我主用是。大震霹靂。若非每瑟。為之緩頰。彼代之人。久矣絕跡。惡性難改。罔悛於心。藐視樂土。不信佳音。

作惡如故。尚不知警。

天主所誓：「不令入吾安寧」者、又誰耶？非心懷狐疑之諸悖逆乎？鳴呼、若輩之不得入安寗、以不信也；吾人亦可以鑒矣！是故吾人值茲「入吾安寧」之恩諾尚未失效之時、當恐懼修省、各自奮勉；幸毋因循自誤、以致坐失良機也。蓋慈音之達於我輩、宛如昔日達於先人。顧先人聞之、而未獲其益者、以其未能用信德融洽其所聞之道、而身體之耳。

然『為吾之忠僕者、當恃信德而生；若畏首畏尾、非吾心所喜。』吾人則非畏首畏尾、終致淪亡之徒也；乃浩然不疑、自求靈祉之人也。

毋閉爾心。炯戒不遠。在爾先人。雖遭百罹。猶不知悛。率彼曠野。頻忤吾神。目擊大猷。冥頑不靈。心厭彼逆。垂四十春。中心懷邪。天理不明。

耶穌謂之曰：『愚人哉！何爾心之冥頑、而不信歷來先知之所言乎？

兄弟其慎之哉！莫使爾中有一人存執拗不信之心、自絕於永生之主宰也。

耶穌愛徒謂伯鐸祿曰：『主也！』時西門伯鐸祿正袒裼裸裎、一聞是主、即披衣投身入海。

忘懷大德。不念靈應。昔在埃及。瑣安之境。大主顯靈。出奇制勝。分裂大海。以作行徑。令彼滔滔。壁立如凝。白雲晝導。明燈夜引。曠野無水。群民思飲。主乃擘石。源泉混混。流水成川。焦壤以潤。群民無饜。厥欲是逞。私心怨主。盍賜佳餅。心怨口讟。主亦何吝既能開石。泉水流迸。胡不設筵。餉以珍品。雅瑋聞語。炎炎其忿。其忿緣何。怒其不順。

言竟轉身、睹耶穌旁立、而當時猶不知其為耶穌也。耶穌詢之曰：『女子胡為泣、欲覓誰耶？』瑪麗以為園丁、對曰：『先生、爾若移之去者、請示置之何處、俾吾得收領其遺體。』耶穌曰：『瑪麗！』瑪麗即回顧、以猶太語呼之曰：『辣波尼！』辣波尼之為言「夫子」也。耶穌曰：『毋撫吾身！予尚未昇詣吾父也。第去告吾諸弟、予將昇詣吾父、亦即爾父、昇詣吾天主、亦即爾天主。』瑪達蘭瑪麗來報門徒曰：『予已見主、其告予如是。』是為週首。既暮、諸徒以懼猶太人故、共聚一室、諸戶緊扃。而耶穌進立其中曰：『賜爾平安！』言畢伸手顯肋、令視。諸徒見主至忻。

復活後見於基法、又見於十二徒，後五百兄弟同時見之、此中多數至今尚存、少數已死。繼又見於雅各伯及諸宗徒；最後乃見於生不及時之予。

第三日天主甦之、且使其顯現、不在廣眾之前、惟於天主所預定之見證、即其復活後飲食與共之吾曹是已。

被爾懸木而殉之耶穌、已為吾祖之天主所復活；且以右手舉之、使為君王、使為救主、俾以悔悟之心、救拔之恩、賜於義塞之人、並以聖神錫諸信者、吾儕均可為之作證。』

法利塞撒杜責輩來試耶穌、求其自天顯示靈徵。耶穌對曰：『暮有紅霞、爾曰必晴；朝見陰紫、爾曰必雨。爾何察於天象、而昧於時義耶？以邪惡不淑之世而求靈徵、除若納之靈徵外、更無靈徵可賜。』遂離之去。

亦云主確已復活、曾現於西門、二人乃為具述途中所遇、及授餅時如何認主事。諸徒正共談此事、耶穌倏立其中曰：『錫爾平安！』諸徒駭怖、以為見神。耶穌曰：『何事驚惶？何多疑懼？一視吾手吾足、便知是我；捫也！視也！神無骨肉、爾見我實有之。』言已、出示手足、諸徒驚喜交集、猶恐其非真也。耶穌曰：『爾有食乎？』

『彼能救人、不能救己。彼非義塞之王乎？盍自脫於架、俾我信之。
