So the other disciples told him,“ We have seen the Lord.” But he said to them,“ Unless I see in his hands the mark of the nails, and place my finger into the mark of the nails, and place my hand into his side, I will never believe.”

眾門徒告之曰、我儕已見主矣、多瑪曰、我若不見其手中釘跡、不以指探其釘跡、不以手探其脅、則不信也、

他徒爰告之曰：『吾儕已曾見主。』而多默應曰：『吾非目睹其手中釘蹟、非吾親探其釘穴、非吾親手撫其肋孔、吾決不輕信。』

So the other disciples told him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”

So they told him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ First I must see the nail marks in his hands. I must put my finger where the nails were. I must put my hand into his side. Only then will I believe.”

They told him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he replied,“ I won’t believe it unless I see the nail wounds in his hands, put my fingers into them, and place my hand into the wound in his side.”

So the other disciples were telling him,“ We’ve seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ If I don’t see the mark of the nails in his hands, put my finger into the mark of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will never believe.”

So the other disciples were saying to him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ Unless I see in His hands the imprint of the nails, and put my finger into the place of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.”

The other disciples therefore said to him,“ We have seen the Lord.” So he said to them,“ Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.”

The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.

So the other disciples kept telling him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ If I don’t see the mark of the nails in His hands, put my finger into the mark of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will never believe!”

The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.

The other disciples told him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he replied,“ Unless I see the wounds from the nails in his hands, and put my finger into the wounds from the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will never believe it!”

The other disciples therefore said to him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ Unless I see in his hands the print of the nails, put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”

But when they heard that he was alive and had been seen by her, they would not believe it.

So they said to him,“ Then what sign do you do, that we may see and believe you? What work do you perform?

He first found his own brother Simon and said to him,“ We have found the Messiah”( which means Christ).

They forgot God, their Savior, who had done great things in Egypt,wondrous works in the land of Ham, and awesome deeds by the Red Sea.Therefore he said he would destroy them— had not Moses, his chosen one, stood in the breach before him, to turn away his wrath from destroying them.Then they despised the pleasant land, having no faith in his promise.

In spite of all this, they still sinned; despite his wonders, they did not believe.

And to whom did he swear that they would not enter his rest, but to those who were disobedient?So we see that they were unable to enter because of unbelief.Therefore, while the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us fear lest any of you should seem to have failed to reach it.For good news came to us just as to them, but the message they heard did not benefit them, because they were not united by faith with those who listened.

but my righteous one shall live by faith, and if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.”But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls.

do not harden your hearts, as at Meribah, as on the day at Massah in the wilderness,when your fathers put me to the test and put me to the proof, though they had seen my work.For forty years I loathed that generation and said,“ They are a people who go astray in their heart, and they have not known my ways.”

And he said to them,“ O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken!

Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God.

That disciple whom Jesus loved therefore said to Peter,“ It is the Lord!” When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment, for he was stripped for work, and threw himself into the sea.

They forgot his works and the wonders that he had shown them.In the sight of their fathers he performed wonders in the land of Egypt, in the fields of Zoan.He divided the sea and let them pass through it, and made the waters stand like a heap.In the daytime he led them with a cloud, and all the night with a fiery light.He split rocks in the wilderness and gave them drink abundantly as from the deep.He made streams come out of the rock and caused waters to flow down like rivers.Yet they sinned still more against him, rebelling against the Most High in the desert.They tested God in their heart by demanding the food they craved.They spoke against God, saying,“ Can God spread a table in the wilderness?He struck the rock so that water gushed out and streams overflowed. Can he also give bread or provide meat for his people?”Therefore, when the Lord heard, he was full of wrath; a fire was kindled against Jacob; his anger rose against Israel,because they did not believe in God and did not trust his saving power.

Having said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing, but she did not know that it was Jesus.Jesus said to her,“ Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?” Supposing him to be the gardener, she said to him,“ Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away.”Jesus said to her,“ Mary.” She turned and said to him in Aramaic,“ Rabboni!”( which means Teacher).Jesus said to her,“ Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brothers and say to them,‘ I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”Mary Magdalene went and announced to the disciples,“ I have seen the Lord”— and that he had said these things to her.On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors being locked where the disciples were for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said to them,“ Peace be with you.”When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.

and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep.Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles.Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me.

but God raised him on the third day and made him to appear,not to all the people but to us who had been chosen by God as witnesses, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.

The God of our fathers raised Jesus, whom you killed by hanging him on a tree.God exalted him at his right hand as Leader and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.And we are witnesses to these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.”

And the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and to test him they asked him to show them a sign from heaven.He answered them,“ When it is evening, you say,‘ It will be fair weather, for the sky is red.’And in the morning,‘ It will be stormy today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times.An evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah.” So he left them and departed.

saying,“ The Lord has risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!”Then they told what had happened on the road, and how he was known to them in the breaking of the bread.As they were talking about these things, Jesus himself stood among them, and said to them,“ Peace to you!”But they were startled and frightened and thought they saw a spirit.And he said to them,“ Why are you troubled, and why do doubts arise in your hearts?See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Touch me, and see. For a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have.”And when he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet.And while they still disbelieved for joy and were marveling, he said to them,“ Have you anything here to eat?”

“ He saved others; he cannot save himself. He is the King of Israel; let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in him.

If I summoned him and he answered me, I would not believe that he was listening to my voice.
