所有的先知都為耶穌見證：『所有信他的人，都將藉著他的名，罪得赦免。』」

所以各位兄弟，你們應當知道：罪得赦免，是因著這一位傳給你們的。在你們藉著摩西的律法，不能被稱為義的一切事上，藉著這一位，所有相信的人都被稱為義了。

耶穌看見他們的信心，就對癱瘓的人說：「孩子，你的罪孽被赦免了。」可是，有一些經文士坐在那裡，心裡想：「這個人怎麼這樣說話呢？他說褻瀆的話！除了神一位之外，誰能赦免罪呢？」耶穌靈裡立刻知道他們心裡這樣想，就對他們說：「你們心裡為什麼想這些事呢？對這癱瘓的人說『你的罪孽被赦免了』，或說『你起來，拿起墊子走路』，哪一樣更容易呢？不過為要使你們知道人子在地上有赦免罪的權柄——」耶穌就對癱瘓的人說：

這樣的人，受了大多數人的那懲罰已經夠了。所以，你們反而更要饒恕他、安慰他，免得他被過度的憂傷吞沒了。因此，我懇求你們向他證實你們的愛。其實我也為此寫了信，就是要知道你們經過考驗的品德：你們是否在一切事上都順從。你們在任何事上饒恕了誰，我也饒恕誰；實際上，我如果饒恕了什麼，我所饒恕的，就是在基督面前為了你們的緣故而饒恕的，

彼得對他們說：「你們應當悔改，每個人都當奉耶穌基督的名受洗，使你們的罪得赦免，就會領受所賜的聖靈。

其中有希米奈奧和亞歷山大。我已經把他們交給了撒旦，這是為要他們受懲罰不再說褻瀆的話。

當你們聚集，與我的靈和我們主耶穌的權能同在的時候，你們要奉我們主耶穌的名，

並且被建造在使徒和先知的根基上，有基督耶穌自己為房角石。
