所以，弟兄們，你們應該知道，赦罪的信息是藉著耶穌傳給你們的。你們靠遵行摩西律法不能被稱為義人，只有信靠耶穌才能被稱為義人。

耶穌看見他們的信心，就對癱子說：「孩子，你的罪被赦免了！」有幾個律法教師坐在那裡，心裡議論說：「這是什麼話？簡直是褻瀆上帝！除了上帝之外，誰能赦罪呢？」耶穌立刻看透了他們的心思，就說：「你們為什麼這樣心裡議論呢？對癱子說『你的罪得到赦免了』容易呢，還是說『起來，收拾你的墊子走吧』容易呢？但我要讓你們知道人子在世上有赦罪的權柄。」於是祂對癱子說：

這樣的人受了眾人的譴責也就夠了。你們現在要饒恕他、安慰他，免得他憂傷過度而一蹶不振。我勸你們要讓他確實知道你們仍然愛他。為此，我也曾寫信給你們，想知道你們是否凡事順服。你們饒恕誰，我也饒恕誰。我若饒恕，是為了你們的緣故在基督面前饒恕的，

彼得說：「你們每一個人都要悔改，奉耶穌基督的名受洗，使你們的罪得到赦免，你們就必領受上帝所賜的聖靈。

其中有許米乃和亞歷山大。我已經把他們交給撒旦，使他們受些教訓，不敢再說褻瀆的話。

你們奉我們主耶穌的名聚會時，我的心並我們主耶穌的權能也與你們同在。

你們已被建立在眾使徒和先知們的基礎上，基督耶穌自己是房角石。
