On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said,“ Peace be with you!”

So Jesus said to them again,“ Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”

Now as they said these things, Jesus Himself stood in the midst of them, and said to them,“ Peace to you.”But they were terrified and frightened, and supposed they had seen a spirit.And He said to them,“ Why are you troubled? And why do doubts arise in your hearts?Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.”When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet.But while they still did not believe for joy, and marveled, He said to them,“ Have you any food here?”So they gave Him a piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb.And He took it and ate in their presence.Then He said to them,“ These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.”And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures.Then He said to them,“ Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day,and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.And you are witnesses of these things.Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.”

However, no one spoke openly of Him for fear of the Jews.

and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve.

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

John, to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne,

I will hear what God the Lord will speak, For He will speak peace To His people and to His saints; But let them not turn back to folly.Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him, That glory may dwell in our land.Mercy and truth have met together; Righteousness and peace have kissed.

For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

Afterward I came to the house of Shemaiah the son of Delaiah, the son of Mehetabel, who was a secret informer; and he said,“ Let us meet together in the house of God, within the temple, and let us close the doors of the temple, for they are coming to kill you; indeed, at night they will come to kill you.”And I said,“ Should such a man as I flee? And who is there such as I who would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in!”

For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation,

to whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all, first being translated“ king of righteousness,” and then also king of Salem, meaning“ king of peace,”

Therefore you now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you.

Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

I have seen his ways, and will heal him; I will also lead him, And restore comforts to him And to his mourners.“ I create the fruit of the lips: Peace, peace to him who is far off and to him who is near,” Says the Lord,“ And I will heal him.”

Peace to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all.

Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen.

“ A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also.At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”Judas( not Iscariot) said to Him,“ Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?”Jesus answered and said to him,“ If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.

If the household is worthy, let your peace come upon it. But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you.
