Now when it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and when the doors were shut where the disciples were together due to fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst, and* said to them,“ Peace be to you.”

是為週首。既暮、諸徒以懼猶太人故、共聚一室、諸戶緊扃。而耶穌進立其中曰：『賜爾平安！』

On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said,“ Peace be with you!”

That Sunday evening the disciples were meeting behind locked doors because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders. Suddenly, Jesus was standing there among them!“ Peace be with you,” he said.

Eight days later His disciples were again inside, and Thomas was with them. Jesus* came, the doors having been shut, and stood in their midst and said,“ Peace be to you.”

Peace I leave you, My peace I give you; not as the world gives, do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, nor fearful.

So Jesus said to them again,“ Peace be to you; just as the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”

Now while they were telling these things, Jesus Himself suddenly stood in their midst and* said to them,“ Peace be to you.”But they were startled and frightened, and thought that they were looking at a spirit.And He said to them,“ Why are you frightened, and why are doubts arising in your hearts?See My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself; touch Me and see, because a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you plainly see that I have.”And when He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet.While they still could not believe it because of their joy and astonishment, He said to them,“ Have you anything here to eat?”They served Him a piece of broiled fish;and He took it and ate it in front of them.Now He said to them,“ These are My words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all the things that are written about Me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.”Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures,and He said to them,“ So it is written, that the Christ would suffer and rise from the dead on the third day,and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.You are witnesses of these things.And behold, I am sending the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.”

However, no one was speaking openly about Him, for fear of the Jews.

and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.

These things I have spoken to you so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.”

John to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from Him who is, and who was, and who is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before His throne,

I will hear what God the Lord will say; For He will speak peace to His people, to His godly ones; And may they not turn back to foolishness.Certainly His salvation is near to those who fear Him, That glory may dwell in our land.Graciousness and truth have met together; Righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.”

When I entered the house of Shemaiah the son of Delaiah, son of Mehetabel, who was confined at home, he said,“ Let’s meet together in the house of God, within the temple, and let’s close the doors of the temple, for they are coming to kill you, and they are coming to kill you at night.”But I said,“ Should a man like me flee? And who is there like me who would go into the temple to save his own life? I will not go in.”

For He Himself is our peace, who made both groups into one and broke down the barrier of the dividing wall,

to whom also Abraham apportioned a tenth of all the spoils, was first of all, by the translation of his name, king of righteousness, and then also king of Salem, which is king of peace.

Therefore you too have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one is going to take your joy away from you.

Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

I have seen his ways, but I will heal him; I will lead him and restore comfort to him and to his mourners,Creating the praise of the lips. Peace, peace to him who is far away and to him who is near,” Says the Lord,“ and I will heal him.”

Peace be to the brothers and sisters, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Now may the Lord of peace Himself continually grant you peace in every circumstance. The Lord be with you all!

Later He appeared to the eleven disciples themselves as they were reclining at the table; and He reprimanded them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they had not believed those who had seen Him after He had risen from the dead.

After a little while, the world no longer is going to see Me, but you are going to see Me; because I live, you also will live.On that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you are in Me, and I in you.The one who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and the one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will reveal Myself to him.”Judas( not Iscariot)* said to Him,“ Lord, what has happened that You are going to reveal Yourself to us and not to the world?”Jesus answered and said to him,“ If anyone loves Me, he will follow My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our dwelling with him.

If the house is worthy, see that your blessing of peace comes upon it. But if it is not worthy, take back your blessing of peace.
