告诉使徒们这些事的，是茉大拉的玛丽亚、约亚娜、雅各的母亲玛丽亚，还有其余和她们在一起的妇女。

耶稣对她们说：“不要怕！去告诉我的弟兄们，要他们到加利利去。在那里，他们将见到我。”

她去告诉那些向来与耶稣在一起的人，他们正在悲伤、哀哭。他们听见耶稣活了，又被玛丽亚看到了，却是不相信。这些事以后，门徒中有两个人往乡下去。在路上，耶稣以另一种形像向他们显现。他们去告诉其他的门徒，那些门徒也不相信他们。

还有，我们中间有些妇女也使我们惊讶：她们清早到了墓穴，却找不到他的遗体，回来还说她们看到了天使的异象，而天使说耶稣还活着。

在一周头一天的清晨，天还黑的时候，茉大拉的玛丽亚就来到墓穴那里，看见那石头已经从墓穴被挪开了。
