Jesus said,“ Do not hold on to me. I have not yet ascended to the Father. Instead, go to those who believe in me. Tell them,‘ I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’ ”

耶稣说：“不要摸我，因我还没有升上去见我的父。你往我弟兄那里去，告诉他们说，我要升上去见我的父，也是你们的父，见我的神，也是你们的神。”

耶稣对她说：“不要拉住我，因为我还没有升上去见我的父。你到我弟兄那里去告诉他们，我要升上去见我的父，也是你们的父，见我的上帝，也是你们的上帝。”

耶稣对她说：“不要拉住我，因为我还没有升上去见我的父。你到我弟兄那里去告诉他们，我要升上去见我的父，也是你们的父，见我的神，也是你们的神。”

耶稣说：“不要拉着我，我还没有升到父那里。你先去找我的众弟兄，告诉他们我要升天去见我的父，也是你们的父；去见我的上帝，也是你们的上帝。”

耶稣说：“你不要拉住我，因为我还没有上去见父。你要到我的弟兄们那里去，告诉他们我要上去见我的父，也是你们的父；见我的神，也是你们的神。”

耶稣说：“不要碰我，因为我还没有上到父那里。你到我弟兄们那里去告诉他们：我要上到我的父那里，他也是你们的父；我要上到我的神那里，他也是你们的神。”

耶穌曰、我未升見父、勿援止我、往告我兄弟、曰、我升見我父、即爾父、我上帝、即爾上帝、

耶穌謂之曰、毋捫我、因我尚未升歸我父、可往見我兄弟、告之曰、我將升歸我父、亦爾之父、我天主、亦爾之天主、

耶穌曰：『毋撫吾身！予尚未昇詣吾父也。第去告吾諸弟、予將昇詣吾父、亦即爾父、昇詣吾天主、亦即爾天主。』

Jesus said,“ Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them,‘ I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”

Jesus said to her,“ Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brothers and say to them,‘ I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”

“ Don’t cling to me,” Jesus said,“ for I haven’t yet ascended to the Father. But go find my brothers and tell them,‘ I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”

“ Don’t cling to me,” Jesus told her,“ since I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and tell them that I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.”

Jesus* said to her,“ Stop clinging to Me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to My brothers and say to them,‘ I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and My God and your God.’ ”

Jesus said to her,“ Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them,‘ I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’”

Jesus saith to her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended unto the Father: but go unto my brethren, and say to them, I ascend unto my Father and your Father, and my God and your God.

“ Don’t cling to Me,” Jesus told her,“ for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to My brothers and tell them that I am ascending to My Father and your Father— to My God and your God.”

Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and[ to] my God, and your God.

Jesus replied,“ Do not touch me, for I have not yet ascended to my Father. Go to my brothers and tell them,‘ I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”

Jesus said to her,“ Don’t hold me, for I haven’t yet ascended to my Father; but go to my brothers and tell them,‘ I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”

Because you are his children, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts. He is the Holy Spirit. By his power we call God Abba. Abba means Father.So you aren’t a slave any longer. You are God’s child. Because you are his child, God gives you the rights of those who are his children.

That is why Scripture says,“ When he went up to his place on high, he took many prisoners. He gave gifts to his people.”( Psalm 68:18)What does“ he went up” mean? It can only mean that he also came down to the lower, earthly places.The one who came down is the same one who went up. He went up higher than all the heavens. He did it in order to fill all creation.

And Jesus, who makes people holy, and the people he makes holy belong to the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them his brothers and sisters.He says,“ I will announce your name to my brothers and sisters. I will sing your praises among those who worship you.”( Psalm 22:22)Again he says,“ I will put my trust in him.”( Isaiah 8:17) And again he says,“ Here I am. Here are the children God has given me.”( Isaiah 8:18)

I will not remain in the world any longer. But they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them safe by the power of your name. It is the name you gave me. Keep them safe so they can be one, just as you and I are one.

So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God by believing in Christ.

Give praise to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. In his great mercy he has given us a new birth and a living hope. This hope is living because Jesus Christ rose from the dead.

God planned that those he had chosen would become like his Son. In that way, Christ will be the first and most honored among many brothers and sisters.

“ Father, you are holy. The world does not know you, but I know you. Those you have given me know you have sent me.

When he went up to his place on high, he took many prisoners. He received gifts from people, even from those who refused to obey him. The Lord God went up to live on Mount Zion.

I came from the Father and entered the world. Now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father.”

And,“ I will be your Father. You will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord who rules over all.”( 2 Samuel 7:14; 7:8)

Some people did accept him and did believe in his name. He gave them the right to become children of God.To be a child of God has nothing to do with human parents. Children of God are not born because of human choice or because a husband wants them to be born. They are born because of what God does.

Those who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.The Spirit you received doesn’t make you slaves. Otherwise you would live in fear again. Instead, the Holy Spirit you received made you God’s adopted child. By the Spirit’s power we call God Abba. Abba means Father.The Spirit himself joins with our spirits. Together they tell us that we are God’s children.As his children, we will receive all that he has for us. We will share what Christ receives. But we must share in his sufferings if we want to share in his glory.

But then they said to one another,“ What we’re doing isn’t right. This is a day of good news. And we’re keeping it to ourselves. If we wait until sunrise, we’ll be punished. Let’s go at once. Let’s report this to the royal palace.”

So do not be afraid. I am with you. Do not be terrified. I am your God. I will make you strong and help you. I will hold you safe in my hands. I always do what is right.

Go quickly! Tell his disciples,‘ He has risen from the dead. He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”

“ This is the covenant I will make with Israel after that time,” announces the Lord.“ I will put my law in their minds. I will write it on their hearts. I will be their God. And they will be my people.

I am going to send you what my Father has promised. But for now, stay in the city. Stay there until you have received power from heaven.”Jesus led his disciples out to the area near Bethany. Then he lifted up his hands and blessed them.While he was blessing them, he left them. He was taken up into heaven.

I will live with them. I will be their God. And they will be my people.

I will make my covenant with you last forever. It will be between me and you and your family after you for all time to come. I will be your God. And I will be the God of all your family after you.You are now living in Canaan as an outsider. But I will give you the whole land of Canaan. You will own it forever and so will all your family after you. And I will be their God.”

Then you will live in the land I gave your people of long ago. You will be my people. And I will be your God.

There are many rooms in my Father’s house. If this were not true, would I have told you that I am going there? Would I have told you that I would prepare a place for you there?

“ You heard me say,‘ I am going away. And I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would be glad I am going to the Father. The Father is greater than I am.

Do not take a purse or bag or sandals. And don’t greet anyone on the road.

“ My sword, wake up! Attack my shepherd! Attack the man who is close to me,” announces the Lord who rules over all.“ Strike down the shepherd. Then the sheep will be scattered. And I will turn my hand against their little ones.Here is what will happen in the whole land,” announces the Lord.“ Two- thirds of the people will be struck down and die. But one- third will be left.I will put this third in the fire. I will make them as pure as silver. I will test them like gold. They will call out to me. And I will answer them. I will say,‘ They are my people.’ And they will say,‘ The Lord is our God.’ ”

Jesus knew that the Father had put everything under his power. He also knew he had come from God and was returning to God.

Jesus answered,“ I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

I heard a loud voice from the throne. It said,“ Look! God now makes his home with the people. He will live with them. They will be his people. And God himself will be with them and be their God.

This is the covenant I will establish with the people of Israel after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds. I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God. And they will be my people.

Dear friends, now we are children of God. He still hasn’t let us know what we will be. But we know that when Christ appears, we will be like him. That’s because we will see him as he really is.

When the Lord Jesus finished speaking to them, he was taken up into heaven. He sat down at the right hand of God.

Jesus said,“ I am with you for only a short time. Then I will go to the one who sent me.

They will be my people. And I will be their God.

“ The King will reply,‘ What I’m about to tell you is true. Anything you did for one of the least important of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

Those who have victory will receive all this from me. I will be their God, and they will be my children.

Suddenly Jesus met them.“ Greetings!” he said. They came to him, took hold of his feet and worshiped him.Then Jesus said to them,“ Don’t be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee. There they will see me.”

It was just before the Passover Feast. Jesus knew that the time had come for him to leave this world. It was time for him to go to the Father. Jesus loved his disciples who were in the world. So he now loved them to the very end.

Then he said to Thomas,“ Put your finger here. See my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”

Then I will go to the altar of God. I will go to God. He is my joy and my delight. God, you are my God. I will praise you by playing the lyre.

So now, Father, give glory to me in heaven where your throne is. Give me the glory I had with you before the world began.

I will announce your name to my people. I will praise you among those who are gathered to worship you.

Anyone who does what my Father in heaven wants is my brother or sister or mother.”

This God is our God for ever and ever. He will be our guide to the very end.

He will call out to me,‘ You are my Father. You are my God. You are my Rock and Savior.’

Instead, they longed for a better country. They wanted a heavenly one. So God is pleased when they call him their God. In fact, he has prepared a city for them.

Elisha said to Gehazi,“ Tuck your coat into your belt. Take my walking stick and run to Shunem. Don’t say hello to anyone you see. If anyone says hello to you, don’t answer. Lay my walking stick on the boy’s face.”

I pray to the God of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is the glorious Father. I keep asking him to give you the wisdom and understanding that come from the Holy Spirit. I want you to know God better.I pray that you may understand more clearly. Then you will know the hope God has chosen you to receive. You will know that what God will give his holy people is rich and glorious.And you will know God’s great power. It can’t be compared with anything else. His power works for us who believe. It is the same mighty strengthGod showed. He showed this when he raised Christ from the dead. God seated him at his right hand in his heavenly kingdom.There Christ sits far above all who rule and have authority. He also sits far above all powers and kings. He is above every name that is appealed to in this world and in the world to come.God placed all things under Christ’s rule. He appointed him to be ruler over everything for the church.The church is Christ’s body and is filled by Christ. He fills everything in every way.
