And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him.

天使對她說：「婦人，你為什麼哭呢？」她說：「有人把我的主搬走了，不知道放在什麼地方。」

天使對她說：『婦人，你為甚麼哭？』她對天使說：『有人把我的主取了去，我不知道他們把他安放在哪裏。』

天使們問她：「婦人，你為什麼哭？」她說：「因為他們把我的主挪走了，我不知道他們把他放在哪裡。」

謂馬利亞曰、婦歟、何哭耶、對曰、人取我主去、不知置於何處、

天使曰、何哭、曰、人取我主尸、不知置何處、

二天神謂瑪麗曰：『女子、何泣為？』對曰：『以人移去吾主、不知置諸何處。』

They asked her,“ Woman, why are you crying?”“ They have taken my Lord away,” she said,“ and I don’t know where they have put him.”

They said to her,“ Woman, why are you weeping?” She said to them,“ They have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid him.”

“ Dear woman, why are you crying?” the angels asked her.“ Because they have taken away my Lord,” she replied,“ and I don’t know where they have put him.”

They said to her,“ Woman, why are you crying?”“ Because they’ve taken away my Lord,” she told them,“ and I don’t know where they’ve put him.”

And they* said to her,“ Woman, why are you weeping?” She* said to them,“ Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they put Him.”

Then they said to her,“ Woman, why are you weeping?” She said to them,“ Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him.”

And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him.

They said to her,“ Woman, why are you crying?”“ Because they’ve taken away my Lord,” she told them,“ and I don’t know where they’ve put Him.”

They said to her,“ Woman, why are you weeping?” Mary replied,“ They have taken my Lord away, and I do not know where they have put him!”

They asked her,“ Woman, why are you weeping?” She said to them,“ Because they have taken away my Lord, and I don’t know where they have laid him.”

Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.

Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.

Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.

And he said unto them, What manner of communications[ are] these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?

Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.

Then said Elkanah her husband to her, Hannah, why weepest thou? and why eatest thou not? and why is thy heart grieved?[ am] not I better to thee than ten sons?

When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come[ again] unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.

O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him,[ who is] the health of my countenance, and my God.

But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart.Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

Thus saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.
