周日黎明时分，几位妇女带着预备好的香料来到坟前，发现墓口的大石头已经滚到旁边，便进去，却没有看见主耶稣的遗体。正在猜疑之间，突然有两个衣服发光的人站在旁边，她们吓得俯伏在地。那两个人对她们说：“你们为什么在死人中找活人呢？祂不在这里，已经复活了！记住祂在加利利对你们说的话，‘人子必须被交在罪人的手中，被钉在十字架上，在第三天复活。’”她们想起耶稣的话来，便离开墓地回去把事情的经过告诉十一个使徒和其他人。这些妇女就是抹大拉的玛丽亚、约亚娜、雅各的母亲玛丽亚及其他人。

耶稣在周日清晨复活后，首先向抹大拉的玛丽亚显现，耶稣曾在她身上赶出七个鬼。

过了八天，门徒又聚在一起，多马也在，门都关着。突然耶稣来了，站在他们当中说：“愿你们平安！”

耶稣的十字架旁边站着祂母亲、祂母亲的一个姊妹、革罗罢的妻子玛丽亚和抹大拉的玛丽亚。

抹大拉的玛丽亚就去向门徒报讯，说：“我看见主了！”又把主对她说的话告诉门徒。当天晚上，即周日晚上，门徒因为害怕犹太人，把房门都关上了。忽然，耶稣来了，站在他们当中，对他们说：“愿你们平安！”

所以请你命人看守坟墓三天，以防祂的门徒偷走祂的尸体，然后对百姓说祂已经从死里复活。这样的迷惑会比以前的更厉害！”彼拉多说：“你们带上卫兵，去那里严加看守。”他们就带着卫兵去了，在墓口的石头上贴上封条，派人看守墓穴。安息日刚过，周日黎明时分，抹大拉的玛丽亚和另一位玛丽亚一同到坟墓去察看。突然，大地剧烈地震动，上帝的天使从天而降，推开堵着墓穴的石头，坐在上面。他的容貌如闪电，衣裳洁白如雪。看守墓穴的卫兵吓得要死，浑身发抖。天使对那两个女人说：“不要怕，我知道你们是在找那位被钉十字架的耶稣。祂不在这里，正如祂所说的，祂已经复活了。你们来看，这是安放祂的地方。现在你们快回去，把这消息告诉祂的门徒，祂已经从死里复活，先你们一步去了加利利，你们将在那里见到祂。记住，我已经告诉你们了。”她们听了又惊又喜，连忙离开坟墓，跑去告诉门徒。忽然，耶稣迎面而来，对她们说：“愿你们平安！”她们就上前抱住祂的脚敬拜祂。耶稣对她们说：“不要害怕。去告诉我的弟兄，叫他们到加利利去，他们将在那里见到我。”

过了安息日，抹大拉的玛丽亚、雅各的母亲玛丽亚和撒罗米买了香料，要去抹耶稣的遗体。周日清早，太阳刚刚升起，她们就去坟墓那里。途中她们彼此议论说：“谁能替我们滚开墓口那块大石头呢？”她们抬头一看，那块大石头已经滚到一旁。她们进了坟墓，看见一位身穿洁白长袍的青年坐在右边，吓了一跳。

主日，我被圣灵感动，听见身后有号角般响亮的声音说：

每逢周日，各人应按照自己的收入抽出一部分留起来，免得我到的时候才现凑。

七日的第一日，我们聚会掰饼，保罗因为次日要离开，就向他们讲道，直到深夜。
