你相信上帝只有一位，你信得没错，鬼魔也相信，而且恐惧战抖。愚蠢的人啊，你们不知道没有行为的信心是死的吗？

我们既然已经在基督耶稣里，受不受割礼根本无关紧要，借着爱表现出来的信心才至关重要。

虽然这样，仍有很多犹太的官员信了耶稣，只是在法利赛人面前不敢公开承认，因为害怕会被赶出会堂。因为他们爱从世人而来的荣耀，胜过爱从上帝而来的荣耀。

犹太人的逾越节快到了，耶稣便上耶路撒冷去。
