顧謂售鴿者曰：『速收拾以去！勿以吾父之室、轉為貿利之場！』

To them I will give in My house and within My walls a memorial, And a name better than that of sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name which will not be eliminated.“ Also the foreigners who join themselves to the Lord, To attend to His service and to love the name of the Lord, To be His servants, every one who keeps the Sabbath so as not to profane it, And holds firmly to My covenant;Even those I will bring to My holy mountain, And make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be acceptable on My altar; For My house will be called a house of prayer for all the peoples.”The Lord God, who gathers the dispersed of Israel, declares,“ I will yet gather others to them, to those already gathered.”All you wild animals, All you animals in the forest, Come to eat.His watchmen are blind, All of them know nothing. All of them are mute dogs unable to bark, Dreamers lying down, who love to slumber;And the dogs are greedy, they are never satisfied. And they are shepherds who have no understanding; They have all turned to their own way, Each one to his unjust gain, without exception.

And He began to teach and say to them,“ Is it not written:‘ My house will be called a house of prayer for all the nations’? But you have made it a den of robbers.”

having eyes full of adultery that never cease from sin, enticing unstable souls, having hearts trained in greed, accursed children;abandoning the right way, they have gone astray, having followed the way of Balaam, the son of Beor, who loved the reward of unrighteousness;

But He answered them,“ My Father is working until now, and I Myself am working.”

and in their greed they will exploit you with false words; their judgment from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.

For a man named Demetrius, a silversmith who made silver shrines of Artemis, was bringing considerable business to the craftsmen;he gathered these men together with the workmen of similar trades, and said,“ Men, you know that our prosperity depends upon this business.You see and hear that not only in Ephesus, but in almost all of Asia, this Paul has persuaded and turned away a considerable number of people, saying that gods made by hands are not gods at all.Not only is there danger that this trade of ours will fall into disrepute, but also that the temple of the great goddess Artemis will be regarded as worthless, and that she whom all of Asia and the world worship will even be dethroned from her magnificence.”
