How blessed is every one of the LORD’s loyal followers, each one who keeps his commands!You will eat what you worked so hard to grow. You will be blessed and secure.Your wife will be like a fruitful vine in the inner rooms of your house; your children will be like olive branches, as they sit all around your table.Yes indeed, the man who fears the LORD will be blessed in this way.

While Jesus was still speaking to the crowds, his mother and brothers came and stood outside, asking to speak to him.

Who can find a wife of noble character? For her value is far more than rubies.The heart of her husband has confidence in her, and he has no lack of gain.She brings him good and not evil all the days of her life.

Now the Spirit explicitly says that in the later times some will desert the faith and occupy themselves with deceiving spirits and demonic teachings,influenced by the hypocrisy of liars whose consciences are seared.They will prohibit marriage and require abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.

Marriage must be honored among all and the marriage bed kept undefiled, for God will judge sexually immoral people and adulterers.

The one who finds a wife finds what is enjoyable, and receives a pleasurable gift from the LORD.

On the next day Jesus wanted to set out for Galilee. He found Philip and said to him,“ Follow me.”

He brought them to the man to see what he would name them, and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name.So the man named all the animals, the birds of the air, and the living creatures of the field, but for Adam no companion who corresponded to him was found.So the LORD God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep, and while he was asleep, he took part of the man’s side and closed up the place with flesh.Then the LORD God made a woman from the part he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.Then the man said,“ This one at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; this one will be called‘ woman,’ for she was taken out of man.”That is why a man leaves his father and mother and unites with his wife, and they become a new family.The man and his wife were both naked, but they were not ashamed.

A house and wealth are inherited from parents, but a prudent wife is from the LORD.

On the next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said,“ Look, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

Again the next day John was standing there with two of his disciples.

and on to Ebron, Rehob, Hammon, and Kanah, as far as Greater Sidon.
