He said to the disciple,“ Here is your mother.” From that time on, the disciple took her into his home.

又对那门徒说：“看，你的母亲！”从此，那门徒就接她到自己家里去了。

次謂徒曰：『此汝母也！』是後徒乃迎養於其家。

He then said to his disciple,“ Look, here is your mother!” From that very time the disciple took her into his own home.

Then he said to the disciple,“ Behold, your mother!” From that hour, the disciple took her to his own home.

“ A time is coming when you will be scattered and go to your own homes. In fact, that time is already here. You will leave me all alone. But I am not really alone. My Father is with me.

He came to what was his own. But his own people did not accept him.

Treat older women as if they were your mothers. Treat younger women as if they were your sisters. Be completely pure in the way you treat them.Take care of the widows who really need help.But suppose a widow has children or grandchildren. They should first learn to put their faith into practice. They should care for their own family. In that way they will pay back their parents and grandparents. That pleases God.

Jesus replied to him,“ Who is my mother? And who are my brothers?”Jesus pointed to his disciples. He said,“ Here is my mother! Here are my brothers!Anyone who does what my Father in heaven wants is my brother or sister or mother.”

Dear children, don’t just talk about love. Put your love into action. Then it will truly be love.Here’s how we know that we hold to the truth. And here’s how we put our hearts at rest, knowing that God is watching.

Then Jesus looked at the people sitting in a circle around him. He said,“ Here is my mother! Here are my brothers!

“ So then, it wasn’t you who sent me here. It was God. He made me like a father to Pharaoh. He made me master of Pharaoh’s entire house. God made me ruler of the whole land of Egypt.

“ The King will reply,‘ What I’m about to tell you is true. Anything you did for one of the least important of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

Joseph also provided food for his father and brothers. He provided for them and the rest of his father’s family. He gave them enough for all their children.
