又告此門徒曰、是乃爾母、自是此門徒接耶穌之母、居於己家、

時將至、今是矣、爾曹皆散、各歸其所、而遺我獨在、實則我非獨在、父偕我在也、

彼臨屬己者、而屬己之民不受之、

勸老婦如母、少女如妹、惟清潔是宜、無依之寡婦、原文作真為寡婦者下同爾當敬之、寡婦有子孫、當學先行孝行孝或作虔敬於家、以報其親、蓋此為美事、可見納於天主前、

答告者曰、孰為我之母、孰為我之兄弟、遂手指門徒曰、視我母及我兄弟、凡遵行我天父旨者、即我兄弟姊妹及母也、

小子乎、我儕相愛、勿以言以舌、乃以行以實、由此我儕可知我從真理、且於主前可安我心、

遂周視環坐者曰、觀我母及我兄弟、

如是、遣我至此者非爾曹、乃天主遣我至此、使我為法老之相、兼司法老全家、治理伊及通國、

王必謂之曰、我誠告爾、既行之於我兄弟至微之一、即行之於我也、

約瑟供養父兄、與父之一切眷屬、視其各家所需而給以糧、○
