因此，我要使他與位大的同份，與強盛的均分擄物。因為他傾倒自己的生命，以至於死，也列在罪犯之中。他卻擔當多人的罪，為他們的過犯代求。

這是要應驗耶穌所說，指自己將要怎樣死的話。

另外有兩個犯人也被帶來和耶穌一同處死。到了一個地方，名叫髑髏地，他們就在那裏把耶穌釘在十字架上，又釘了兩個犯人：一個在右邊，一個在左邊。〔這時，耶穌說：「父啊！赦免他們，因為他們所做的，他們不知道。」〕士兵就抽籤分他的衣服。

和他同釘的強盜也這樣譏諷他。

犬類圍着我，惡黨環繞我；他們扎了我的手、我的腳。

於是他們把他釘在十字架上，抽籤分他的衣服，看誰得甚麼。他們把他釘十字架的時候是上午九點鐘。罪狀牌上寫的是：「猶太人的王。」他們又把兩個強盜和他同釘十字架，一個在右邊，一個在左邊。

仰望我們信心的創始成終者耶穌，他因那擺在前面的喜樂，輕看羞辱，忍受了十字架的苦難，如今已坐在上帝寶座的右邊。
