When Pilate heard this, he brought Jesus out and sat down on the judge’s seat at a place known as the Stone Pavement( which in Aramaic is Gabbatha).

你們仍不知道，也不明白，在黑暗中走來走去；地的根基都搖動了。我曾說：你們是神，都是至高者的兒子。然而，你們要死，與世人一樣，要仆倒，像王子中的一位。

懼怕人的，陷入網羅；惟有倚靠耶和華的，必得安穩。

在收割的前三月，我使雨停止，不降在你們那裏；我降雨在這城，不降雨在那城；這塊地有雨，那塊地無雨；無雨的就枯乾了。

在耶路撒冷，靠近羊門有一個池子，希伯來話叫作畢士大，旁邊有五個廊子；

彼得、約翰說：「聽從你們，不聽從神，這在神面前合理不合理，你們自己酌量吧！

我要指示你們當怕的是誰：當怕那殺了以後又有權柄丟在地獄裏的。我實在告訴你們，正要怕他。

惟有我，是安慰你們的。你是誰，竟怕那必死的人？怕那要變如草的世人？卻忘記鋪張諸天、立定地基、創造你的耶和華？又因欺壓者圖謀毀滅要發的暴怒，整天害怕，其實那欺壓者的暴怒在哪裏呢？

你怕誰？因誰恐懼？竟說謊，不記念我，又不將這事放在心上。我不是許久閉口不言，你仍不怕我嗎？

世人哪，你們默然不語，真合公義嗎？施行審判，豈按正直嗎？不然！你們是心中作惡；你們在地上秤出你們手所行的強暴。

彼拉多聽見這話，越發害怕，

那藉着律例架弄殘害、在位上行奸惡的，豈能與你相交嗎？他們大家聚集攻擊義人，將無辜的人定為死罪。

你若在一省之中見窮人受欺壓，並奪去公義公平的事，不要因此詫異；因有一位高過居高位的鑒察，在他們以上還有更高的。
