Jesus, knowing all that was going to happen to him, went out and asked them,“ Who is it you want?”

Jesus knew everything that was going to happen to him. So he went out and asked them,“ Who do you want?”

Then Jesus, knowing all that would happen to him, came forward and said to them,“ Whom do you seek?”

Jesus fully realized all that was going to happen to him, so he stepped forward to meet them.“ Who are you looking for?” he asked.

Then Jesus, knowing everything that was about to happen to him, went out and said to them,“ Who is it that you’re seeking?”

Jesus therefore, knowing all the things that were coming upon Him, came out into the open and* said to them,“ Whom are you seeking?”

Now before the feast of the Passover, Jesus, knowing that his time had come that he would depart from this world to the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.

Again therefore he asked them,“ Who are you looking for?” They said,“ Jesus of Nazareth.”

When they heard it, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said,“ O Lord, you are God, who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and all that is in them;who by the mouth of your servant, David, said,‘ Why do the nations rage, and the peoples plot a vain thing?The kings of the earth take a stand, and the rulers take council together, against the Lord, and against his Christ.’“ For truly, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together against your holy servant, Jesus, whom you anointed,to do whatever your hand and your council foreordained to happen.

But there are some of you who don’t believe.” For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who didn’t believe, and who it was who would betray him.

I said,“ Should a man like me flee? Who is there that, being such as I, would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in.”

As Yahweh your God lives, there is no nation or kingdom where my lord has not sent to seek you. When they said,‘ He is not here,’ he took an oath of the kingdom and nation, that they didn’t find you.

For he knew him who would betray him, therefore he said,“ You are not all clean.”

While they were staying in Galilee, Jesus said to them,“ The Son of Man is about to be delivered up into the hands of men,and they will kill him, and the third day he will be raised up.” They were exceedingly sorry.

“ Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death,and will hand him over to the Gentiles to mock, to scourge, and to crucify; and the third day he will be raised up.”

As they were eating, he said,“ Most certainly I tell you that one of you will betray me.”

The wicked flee when no one pursues; but the righteous are as bold as a lion.

“ Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem. The Son of Man will be delivered to the chief priests and the scribes. They will condemn him to death, and will deliver him to the Gentiles.They will mock him, spit on him, scourge him, and kill him. On the third day he will rise again.”

He took the twelve aside, and said to them,“ Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all the things that are written through the prophets concerning the Son of Man will be completed.For he will be delivered up to the Gentiles, will be mocked, treated shamefully, and spit on.They will scourge and kill him. On the third day, he will rise again.”

After this, Jesus, seeing that all things were now finished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said,“ I am thirsty.”

“ You know that after two days the Passover is coming, and the Son of Man will be delivered up to be crucified.”

Therefore the Father loves me, because I lay down my life, that I may take it again.No one takes it away from me, but I lay it down by myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. I received this commandment from my Father.”

From that time, Jesus began to show his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders, chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and the third day be raised up.

Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind; for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,

He isn’t here, but is risen. Remember what he told you when he was still in Galilee,saying that the Son of Man must be delivered up into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and the third day rise again?”

I will not be afraid of tens of thousands of people who have set themselves against me on every side.

Though an army should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear. Though war should rise against me, even then I will be confident.

You made known to me the ways of life. You will make me full of gladness with your presence.’

Then Jesus said to them,“ All of you will be made to stumble because of me tonight, for it is written,‘ I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.’

He said to them,“ This is what I told you, while I was still with you, that all things which are written in the law of Moses, the prophets, and the psalms, concerning me must be fulfilled.”

Now, behold, I go bound by the Spirit to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there;except that the Holy Spirit testifies in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions wait for me.

Now you say,‘ Go, tell your lord,“ Behold, Elijah is here”.’ He will kill me.”Elijah said,“ As Yahweh of Armies lives, before whom I stand, I will surely show myself to him today.”So Obadiah went to meet Ahab, and told him; and Ahab went to meet Elijah.When Ahab saw Elijah, Ahab said to him,“ Is that you, you troubler of Israel?”He answered,“ I have not troubled Israel; but you, and your father’s house, in that you have forsaken Yahweh’s commandments, and you have followed the Baals.
