Pilate answered,“ Am I a Jew? Your own nation and the chief priests have delivered you over to me. What have you done?”

彼拉多說：「我豈是猶太人呢？你本國的人和祭司長把你交給我。你做了甚麼事呢？」

彼拉多回答：「難道我是猶太人嗎？你的同胞和祭司長把你交給我。你做了甚麼事呢？」

彼拉多說：「難道我是猶太人嗎？是你們猶太人和祭司長把你送來的。你到底犯了什麼罪？」

“ Am I a Jew?” Pilate replied.“ Your own people and chief priests handed you over to me. What is it you have done?”

Pilate answered,“ I am not a Jew, am I? Your own nation and the chief priests handed You over to me; what have You done?”

Pilate answered,“ Am I a Jew? Your own nation and the chief priests have delivered You to me. What have You done?”

Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests delivered thee unto me: what hast thou done?

“ I’m not a Jew, am I?” Pilate replied.“ Your own nation and the chief priests handed You over to me. What have You done?”

Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me: what hast thou done?

Pilate answered,“ I am not a Jew, am I? Your own people and your chief priests handed you over to me. What have you done?”

Pilate answered,“ I’m not a Jew, am I? Your own nation and the chief priests delivered you to me. What have you done?”

The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified his servant Jesus, whom you delivered over and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he had decided to release him.

Then they led Jesus from the house of Caiaphas to the governor’s headquarters. It was early morning. They themselves did not enter the governor’s headquarters, so that they would not be defiled, but could eat the Passover.

Are you not the Egyptian, then, who recently stirred up a revolt and led the four thousand men of the Assassins out into the wilderness?”

Rather they had certain points of dispute with him about their own religion and about a certain Jesus, who was dead, but whom Paul asserted to be alive.Being at a loss how to investigate these questions, I asked whether he wanted to go to Jerusalem and be tried there regarding them.

Jesus answered him,“ You would have no authority over me at all unless it had been given you from above. Therefore he who delivered me over to you has the greater sin.”

But when Paul was about to open his mouth, Gallio said to the Jews,“ If it were a matter of wrongdoing or vicious crime, O Jews, I would have reason to accept your complaint.But since it is a matter of questions about words and names and your own law, see to it yourselves. I refuse to be a judge of these things.”And he drove them from the tribunal.

Then what advantage has the Jew? Or what is the value of circumcision?Much in every way. To begin with, the Jews were entrusted with the oracles of God.

Up to this word they listened to him. Then they raised their voices and said,“ Away with such a fellow from the earth! For he should not be allowed to live.”And as they were shouting and throwing off their cloaks and flinging dust into the air,the tribune ordered him to be brought into the barracks, saying that he should be examined by flogging, to find out why they were shouting against him like this.

I found that he was being accused about questions of their law, but charged with nothing deserving death or imprisonment.

be it known to the king that the Jews who came up from you to us have gone to Jerusalem. They are rebuilding that rebellious and wicked city. They are finishing the walls and repairing the foundations.

When the chief priests and the officers saw him, they cried out,“ Crucify him, crucify him!” Pilate said to them,“ Take him yourselves and crucify him, for I find no guilt in him.”
