Pilate then went back inside the palace, summoned Jesus and asked him,“ Are you the king of the Jews?”

Then Pilate went back inside the palace. He ordered Jesus to be brought to him. Pilate asked him,“ Are you the king of the Jews?”

So Pilate entered his headquarters again and called Jesus and said to him,“ Are you the King of the Jews?”

Then Pilate went back into his headquarters and called for Jesus to be brought to him.“ Are you the king of the Jews?” he asked him.

Then Pilate went back into the headquarters, summoned Jesus, and said to him,“ Are you the king of the Jews?”

Therefore Pilate entered the Praetorium again, and summoned Jesus and said to Him,“ You are the King of the Jews?”

Then Pilate entered the Praetorium again, called Jesus, and said to Him,“ Are You the King of the Jews?”

Pilate therefore entered again into the Prætorium, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews?

Then Pilate went back into the headquarters, summoned Jesus, and said to Him,“ Are You the King of the Jews?”

Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews?

So Pilate went back into the governor’s residence, summoned Jesus, and asked him,“ Are you the king of the Jews?”

Pilate therefore entered again into the Praetorium, called Jesus, and said to him,“ Are you the King of the Jews?”

又進衙門，對耶穌說：「你是哪裏來的？」耶穌卻不回答。

彼拉多就對他說：「這樣，你是王嗎？」耶穌回答說：「你說我是王。我為此而生，也為此來到世間，特為給真理作見證。凡屬真理的人就聽我的話。」

因有一嬰孩為我們而生；有一子賜給我們。政權必擔在他的肩頭上；他名稱為「奇妙策士、全能的神、永在的父、和平的君」。他的政權與平安必加增無窮。他必在大衛的寶座上治理他的國，以公平公義使國堅定穩固，從今直到永遠。萬軍之耶和華的熱心必成就這事。

又挨近他，說：「恭喜，猶太人的王啊！」他們就用手掌打他。

就拿着棕樹枝出去迎接他，喊着說：和散那！奉主名來的以色列王是應當稱頌的！

錫安的民哪，應當大大喜樂；耶路撒冷的民哪，應當歡呼。看哪，你的王來到你這裏！他是公義的，並且施行拯救，謙謙和和地騎着驢，就是騎着驢的駒子。

眾人將耶穌從該亞法那裏往衙門內解去，那時天還早。他們自己卻不進衙門，恐怕染了污穢，不能吃逾越節的筵席。彼拉多就出來，到他們那裏，說：「你們告這人是為甚麼事呢？」

大衛並沒有升到天上，但自己說：主對我主說：你坐在我的右邊，等我使你仇敵作你的腳凳。「故此，以色列全家當確實地知道，你們釘在十字架上的這位耶穌，神已經立他為主，為基督了。」

彼拉多問耶穌說：「你是猶太人的王嗎？」耶穌回答說：「你說的是。」彼拉多對祭司長和眾人說：「我查不出這人有甚麼罪來。」

耶穌站在巡撫面前；巡撫問他說：「你是猶太人的王嗎？」耶穌說：「你說的是。」

拿但業說：「拉比，你是神的兒子，你是以色列的王！」

彼拉多問他說：「你是猶太人的王嗎？」耶穌回答說：「你說的是。」

說：我已經立我的君在錫安－我的聖山上了。受膏者說：我要傳聖旨。耶和華曾對我說：你是我的兒子，我今日生你。你求我，我就將列國賜你為基業，將地極賜你為田產。你必用鐵杖打破他們；你必將他們如同窰匠的瓦器摔碎。現在，你們君王應當省悟！你們世上的審判官該受管教！當存畏懼事奉耶和華，又當存戰兢而快樂。當以嘴親子，恐怕他發怒，你們便在道中滅亡，因為他的怒氣快要發作。凡投靠他的，都是有福的。

從此，彼拉多想要釋放耶穌，無奈猶太人喊着說：「你若釋放這個人，就不是凱撒的忠臣。凡以自己為王的，就是背叛凱撒了。」

我在叫萬物生活的神面前，並在向本丟‧彼拉多作過那美好見證的基督耶穌面前囑咐你：

錫安的民哪，不要懼怕！你的王騎着驢駒來了。

耶和華已經除去你的刑罰，趕出你的仇敵。以色列的王－耶和華在你中間；你必不再懼怕災禍。

耶和華說：「日子將到，我要給大衛興起一個公義的苗裔；他必掌王權，行事有智慧，在地上施行公平和公義。

說：奉主名來的王是應當稱頌的！在天上有和平；在至高之處有榮光。眾人中有幾個法利賽人對耶穌說：「夫子，責備你的門徒吧！」耶穌說：「我告訴你們，若是他們閉口不說，這些石頭必要呼叫起來。」

彼拉多又用牌子寫了一個名號，安在十字架上，寫的是：「猶太人的王，拿撒勒人耶穌。」有許多猶太人念這名號；因為耶穌被釘十字架的地方與城相近，並且是用希伯來、羅馬、希臘三樣文字寫的。猶太人的祭司長就對彼拉多說：「不要寫『猶太人的王』，要寫『他自己說：我是猶太人的王』。」彼拉多說：「我所寫的，我已經寫上了。」
