saying that the Son of Man must be handed over to sinful men, and be crucified, and on the third day rise from the dead.”And they remembered His words,

The Jews picked up stones again to stone Him.

The Jews answered Him,“ We are not stoning You for a good work, but for blasphemy; and because You, being a man, make Yourself out to be God.”

They went on stoning Stephen as he called on the Lord and said,“ Lord Jesus, receive my spirit!”
