that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified and on the third day rise.”And they remembered his words,

The Jews picked up stones again to stone him.

The Jews answered him,“ It is not for a good work that we are going to stone you but for blasphemy, because you, being a man, make yourself God.”

And as they were stoning Stephen, he called out,“ Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.”
