時西門彼得立而向火、眾謂之曰、爾亦其徒之一乎、彼得諱之曰、非也、

西门彼得正站着烤火，有人对他说：“你不也是他的门徒吗？”彼得不承认，说：“我不是。”

那时西门·彼得仍然站着烤火，有人问他：“你不也是那人的门徒吗？”彼得否认说：“我不是！”

西门彼得正站着取暖，有人对他说：“你不也是他的门徒吗？”彼得否认说：“我不是。”

時西門彼得立而向火、或謂之曰、爾亦其徒乎、彼得弗承曰、非也、

時、西門彼得立向火、或語之曰、爾亦此人之徒歟、彼不承曰、非也、

而伯鐸祿猶立而取煖。或問之、曰：『汝亦斯人之徒歟？』伯鐸祿否認曰：『非也！』

Meanwhile, Simon Peter was still standing there warming himself. So they asked him,“ You aren’t one of his disciples too, are you?” He denied it, saying,“ I am not.”

Meanwhile, Simon Peter was still standing there warming himself by the fire. So they asked him,“ You aren’t one of Jesus’ disciples too, are you?” He said,“ I am not.”

Now Simon Peter was standing and warming himself. So they said to him,“ You also are not one of his disciples, are you?” He denied it and said,“ I am not.”

Meanwhile, as Simon Peter was standing by the fire warming himself, they asked him again,“ You’re not one of his disciples, are you?” He denied it, saying,“ No, I am not.”

Now Simon Peter was standing and warming himself. They said to him,“ You aren’t one of his disciples too, are you?” He denied it and said,“ I am not.”

Now Simon Peter was still standing and warming himself. So they said to him,“ You are not one of His disciples as well, are you?” He denied it, and said,“ I am not.”

Now Simon Peter stood and warmed himself. Therefore they said to him,“ You are not also one of His disciples, are you?” He denied it and said,“ I am not!”

Now Simon Peter was standing and warming himself. They said therefore unto him, Art thou also one of his disciples? He denied, and said, I am not.

Now Simon Peter was standing and warming himself. They said to him,“ You aren’t one of His disciples too, are you?” He denied it and said,“ I am not!”

And Simon Peter stood and warmed himself. They said therefore unto him, Art not thou also[ one] of his disciples? He denied[ it], and said, I am not.

Meanwhile Simon Peter was standing in the courtyard warming himself. They said to him,“ You aren’t one of his disciples too, are you?” Peter denied it:“ I am not!”

Now Simon Peter was standing and warming himself. They said therefore to him,“ You aren’t also one of his disciples, are you?” He denied it and said,“ I am not.”

有頃、又一人見彼得曰、爾亦其黨、彼得曰、人乎、非也、越片時、復一人力言曰、此人實偕耶穌、蓋亦迦利利人也、彼得曰、人乎、我不識爾所言也、言時、鷄即鳴、主回顧彼得、彼得憶主所言云、鷄鳴之先、爾將三次言不識我、遂出而痛哭、○

畏人過甚、必陷網羅、惟恃主者必得護衛、

遂出、至院門前、又一婢見之、告同在之人曰、此人亦素偕拿撒勒耶穌者、彼得復諱之曰、我不識其人、未幾、旁立者就彼得謂之曰、爾亦誠為其黨、聽爾之方言可知矣、彼得遂詛且誓曰、我不識其人、即時鷄鳴、彼得憶耶穌之言云、鷄鳴之先、爾將三次言不識我、乃出而痛哭、

守門之女謂彼得曰、爾亦斯人之門徒乎、曰、非也、僕與吏役因寒熾炭、立而向火、彼得同立向火、

後磯法至安提約、有可責之處、我面詰之、蓋雅各所遣之人未至、磯法與異邦人同食、及至、磯法畏受割禮者、則退而避之、其餘猶太人、皆同為偽、即巴拿巴亦被誘而為偽、

有一婢、見彼得坐而向火、注目視之曰、此人亦曾偕耶穌者、

時彼得坐於外院、有一婢就之曰、爾亦素偕迦利利人耶穌者、

遂返、見門徒寢、謂彼得曰、西門、爾寢乎、爾不能警醒片時乎、當警醒祈禱、免入誘惑、心固願而身弱矣、

撒拉懼而諱曰、我未嘗哂也、曰、否、爾實哂、○

見彼得向火、注目視之曰、爾亦素偕拿撒勒耶穌者、彼得諱之曰、我不知、且不識爾言何也、遂出、至院之前廊、而鷄鳴矣、婢復見之、語旁立者曰、此人亦係其黨、彼得又諱之、少頃、旁立者語彼得曰、爾誠其黨、蓋爾乃迦利利人、爾之方言亦相似、彼得詛且誓曰、爾所言之人、我不識也、鷄復鳴、彼得忽憶耶穌之言云、鷄鳴二次之先、爾將三次言不識我、思之則哭矣、
