眾遂唾其面、且拳擊之、又有手批其頰者、曰、基督、爾既先知、試言擊爾者為誰、○

執耶穌者、戲而撲之、掩其目、批其面、問曰、爾乃先知、試言擊爾者誰、

今爾敵人和會成軍、群至圍攻我、群至圍攻我或作築壘環攻我以杖撻以色列君之頰、○

彼眾張口以詈我、批頰以凌辱我、互相結盟以攻我、

則撻先知耶利米、加以桎梏、囚於主殿之一門、即便雅憫崇門、

有人唾之、掩其面、拳擊之、曰、爾既先知、試言擊爾者為誰、吏役亦有手批其頰者、○

猶大率兵一隊、及祭司諸長、與法利賽人之吏役、以燈以炬以械而至、

主天主啟我耳、我不違背、不退後、人撻我背、我任其撻、人拔我鬚、我聽其拔、人辱我唾我、我不掩面、主天主必祐助我、故我不羞慚、以為我之面堅如鐵石、且知我必不至愧恥、
