耶稣就对彼得说：“收刀入鞘吧，我父所给我的那杯，我岂可不喝呢？”

于是耶稣对彼得说：“收刀入鞘吧！我父给我的杯，我岂可不喝呢？”

于是耶稣对彼得说：“收刀入鞘吧！我父给我的杯，我岂可不喝呢？”

耶稣对彼得说：“收刀入鞘吧！我父赐给我的杯，我怎能不喝呢？”

耶稣对彼得说：“把刀收入鞘里去！父给我的杯，我怎能不喝呢？”

耶稣就对彼得说：“把刀收回鞘里！父所赐给我的杯，我难道能不喝吗？”

耶穌就對彼得說：「收刀入鞘吧，我父所給我的那杯，我豈可不喝呢？」

於是耶穌對彼得說：「收刀入鞘吧！我父給我的杯，我豈可不喝呢？」

耶穌謂伯鐸祿曰『收刃入鞘、父所賜我之爵、可不飲乎？』

Jesus commanded Peter,“ Put your sword away! Shall I not drink the cup the Father has given me?”

Jesus commanded Peter,“ Put your sword away! Shouldn’t I drink the cup of suffering the Father has given me?”

So Jesus said to Peter,“ Put your sword into its sheath; shall I not drink the cup that the Father has given me?”

But Jesus said to Peter,“ Put your sword back into its sheath. Shall I not drink from the cup of suffering the Father has given me?”

At that, Jesus said to Peter,“ Put your sword away! Am I not to drink the cup the Father has given me?”

So Jesus said to Peter,“ Put the sword into the sheath; the cup which the Father has given Me, am I not to drink it?”

So Jesus said to Peter,“ Put your sword into the sheath. Shall I not drink the cup which My Father has given Me?”

Jesus therefore said unto Peter, Put up the sword into the sheath: the cup which the Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?

At that, Jesus said to Peter,“ Sheathe your sword! Am I not to drink the cup the Father has given Me?”

Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?

But Jesus said to Peter,“ Put your sword back into its sheath! Am I not to drink the cup that the Father has given me?”

Jesus therefore said to Peter,“ Put the sword into its sheath. The cup which the Father has given me, shall I not surely drink it?”

“ You don’t know what you are asking,” Jesus said to them.“ Can you drink the cup I am going to drink?”“ We can,” they answered. (niv)

Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed,“ My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.” (niv)

“ Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.” (niv)

fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. (niv)

“ Now my soul is troubled, and what shall I say?‘ Father, save me from this hour’? No, it was for this very reason I came to this hour.Father, glorify your name!” Then a voice came from heaven,“ I have glorified it, and will glorify it again.” (niv)

He went away a second time and prayed,“ My Father, if it is not possible for this cup to be taken away unless I drink it, may your will be done.” (niv)

“ You don’t know what you are asking,” Jesus said.“ Can you drink the cup I drink or be baptized with the baptism I am baptized with?”“ We can,” they answered. Jesus said to them,“ You will drink the cup I drink and be baptized with the baptism I am baptized with, (niv)

Going a little farther, he fell to the ground and prayed that if possible the hour might pass from him.“ Abba, Father,” he said,“ everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.” (niv)

If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. (niv)

“ Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world. (niv)

The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. (niv)

For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them. (niv)

Jesus said,“ My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.” (niv)

Jesus said,“ Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them,‘ I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’” (niv)

You have gone the way of your sister; so I will put her cup into your hand. (niv)

Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. In the hand of the Lord is a cup full of foaming wine mixed with spices; he pours it out, and all the wicked of the earth drink it down to its very dregs. (niv)

The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry,“ Abba, Father.”The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.Now if we are children, then we are heirs— heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. And have you completely forgotten this word of encouragement that addresses you as a father addresses his son? It says,“ My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline, and do not lose heart when he rebukes you,because the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son.”Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined by their father?If you are not disciplined— and everyone undergoes discipline— then you are not legitimate, not true sons and daughters at all.Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of spirits and live!They disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in his holiness. (niv)

in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left; (niv)

So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said,“ Father, I thank you that you have heard me.I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.” (niv)
