I revealed your name to the people whom you have given me out of the world. They were yours, and you have given them to me. They have kept your word.

爾由世所選而賜我者、我已以爾名示之、彼固屬爾、爾以之賜我、彼已守爾言、

凡父所拔於世而賜於予之人、予已以父名示之。若輩本屬於父、而父以之賜予、其人皆服膺父之慈訓、

“ I have revealed you to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word.

“ I have shown you to the disciples you gave me out of the world. They were yours. You gave them to me. And they have obeyed your word.

“ I have manifested your name to the people whom you gave me out of the world. Yours they were, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word.

“ I have revealed you to the ones you gave me from this world. They were always yours. You gave them to me, and they have kept your word.

“ I have revealed your name to the people you gave me from the world. They were yours, you gave them to me, and they have kept your word.

“ I have revealed Your name to the men whom You gave Me out of the world; they were Yours and You gave them to Me, and they have followed Your word.

“ I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word.

I manifested thy name unto the men whom thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them to me; and they have kept thy word.

I have revealed Your name to the men You gave Me from the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word.

“ I have revealed your name to the men you gave me out of the world. They belonged to you, and you gave them to me, and they have obeyed your word.

I made known to them your name, and will make it known; that the love with which you loved me may be in them, and I in them.”

We know that the Son of God has come, and has given us an understanding, that we know him who is true, and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.

One who has my commandments and keeps them, that person is one who loves me. One who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will reveal myself to him.”Judas( not Iscariot) said to him,“ Lord, what has happened that you are about to reveal yourself to us, and not to the world?”Jesus answered him,“ If a man loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our home with him.He who doesn’t love me doesn’t keep my words. The word which you hear isn’t mine, but the Father’s who sent me.

even as you gave him authority over all flesh, so he will give eternal life to all whom you have given him.

Moses said to God,“ Behold, when I come to the children of Israel, and tell them,‘ The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me,‘ What is his name?’ what should I tell them?”God said to Moses,“ I AM WHO I AM,” and he said,“ You shall tell the children of Israel this:‘ I AM has sent me to you.’”God said moreover to Moses,“ You shall tell the children of Israel this,‘ Yahweh, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is my name forever, and this is my memorial to all generations.

Yahweh descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed Yahweh’s name.Yahweh passed by before him, and proclaimed,“ Yahweh! Yahweh, a merciful and gracious God, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness and truth,keeping loving kindness for thousands, forgiving iniquity and disobedience and sin; and who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, and on the children’s children, on the third and on the fourth generation.”

Father, I desire that they also whom you have given me be with me where I am, that they may see my glory, which you have given me, for you loved me before the foundation of the world.

All those whom the Father gives me will come to me. He who comes to me I will in no way throw out.

I will declare your name to my brothers. Among the assembly, I will praise you.

“ I know your works( behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one can shut), that you have a little power, and kept my word, and didn’t deny my name.

If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, since I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.My Father who has given them to me is greater than all. No one is able to snatch them out of my Father’s hand.

even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and without defect before him in love,having predestined us for adoption as children through Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his desire,to the praise of the glory of his grace, by which he freely gave us favor in the Beloved,in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,which he made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence,making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in himto an administration of the fullness of the times, to sum up all things in Christ, the things in the heavens and the things on the earth, in him.We were also assigned an inheritance in him, having been foreordained according to the purpose of him who does all things after the counsel of his will,

But we are bound to always give thanks to God for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because God chose you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief in the truth,to which he called you through our Good News, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

“ I know your works and where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is. You hold firmly to my name, and didn’t deny my faith in the days of Antipas my witness, my faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.

For wisdom will enter into your heart. Knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.

Buy the truth, and don’t sell it. Get wisdom, discipline, and understanding.

You are already pruned clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.

This is the will of my Father who sent me, that of all he has given to me I should lose nothing, but should raise him up at the last day.

I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.

No one has seen God at any time. The one and only Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, has declared him.

saying,“ I will declare your name to my brothers. Among the congregation I will sing your praise.”

If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you.

Hold the pattern of sound words which you have heard from me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

God didn’t reject his people, which he foreknew. Or don’t you know what the Scripture says about Elijah? How he pleads with God against Israel:

but indeed for this cause I have made you stand: to show you my power, and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth,

In that same hour Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit, and said,“ I thank you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for so it was well- pleasing in your sight.”Turning to the disciples, he said,“ All things have been delivered to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is, except the Father, and who the Father is, except the Son, and he to whomever the Son desires to reveal him.”

They are not of the world even as I am not of the world.

seeing it is God who said,“ Light will shine out of darkness,” who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

I pray for them. I don’t pray for the world, but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours.All things that are mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I am glorified in them.I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them through your name which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are.

My son, if you will receive my words, and store up my commandments within you,so as to turn your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding;yes, if you call out for discernment, and lift up your voice for understanding;if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures:then you will understand the fear of Yahweh, and find the knowledge of God.

Father, glorify your name!” Then a voice came out of the sky, saying,“ I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.”

At that time, Jesus answered,“ I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you hid these things from the wise and understanding, and revealed them to infants.Yes, Father, for so it was well- pleasing in your sight.All things have been delivered to me by my Father. No one knows the Son, except the Father; neither does anyone know the Father, except the Son, and he to whom the Son desires to reveal him.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord.

that the word might be fulfilled which he spoke,“ Of those whom you have given me, I have lost none.”

but Christ is faithful as a Son over his house. We are his house, if we hold fast our confidence and the glorying of our hope firm to the end.

Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed him,“ If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples.You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”

We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose.For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.Whom he predestined, those he also called. Whom he called, those he also justified. Whom he justified, those he also glorified.

I have given them your word. The world hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

God, you have taught me from my youth. Until now, I have declared your wondrous works.Yes, even when I am old and gray- haired, God, don’t forsake me, until I have declared your strength to the next generation, your might to everyone who is to come.Your righteousness also, God, reaches to the heavens; you have done great things. God, who is like you?

My son, don’t forget my teaching; but let your heart keep my commandments:for they will add to you length of days, years of life, and peace.Don’t let kindness and truth forsake you. Bind them around your neck. Write them on the tablet of your heart.So you will find favor, and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

As the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of God. As many as were appointed to eternal life believed.
