“ I have revealed Your name to the men whom You gave Me out of the world; they were Yours and You gave them to Me, and they have followed Your word.

凡父所拔於世而賜於予之人、予已以父名示之。若輩本屬於父、而父以之賜予、其人皆服膺父之慈訓、

“ I have revealed you to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word.

“ I have revealed you to the ones you gave me from this world. They were always yours. You gave them to me, and they have kept your word.

I manifested thy name unto the men whom thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them to me; and they have kept thy word.

And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.

The one who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and the one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will reveal Myself to him.”Judas( not Iscariot)* said to Him,“ Lord, what has happened that You are going to reveal Yourself to us and not to the world?”Jesus answered and said to him,“ If anyone loves Me, he will follow My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our dwelling with him.The one who does not love Me does not follow My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me.

just as You gave Him authority over all mankind, so that to all whom You have given Him, He may give eternal life.

Then Moses said to God,“ Behold, I am going to the sons of Israel, and I will say to them,‘ The God of your fathers has sent me to you.’ Now they may say to me,‘ What is His name?’ What shall I say to them?”And God said to Moses,“ I AM WHO I AM”; and He said,“ This is what you shall say to the sons of Israel:‘ I AM has sent me to you.’ ”God furthermore said to Moses,“ This is what you shall say to the sons of Israel:‘ The Lord, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is My name forever, and this is the name for all generations to use to call upon Me.

And the Lord descended in the cloud and stood there with him as he called upon the name of the Lord.Then the Lord passed by in front of him and proclaimed,“ The Lord, the Lord God, compassionate and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in faithfulness and truth;who keeps faithfulness for thousands, who forgives wrongdoing, violation of His Law, and sin; yet He will by no means leave the guilty unpunished, inflicting the punishment of fathers on the children and on the grandchildren to the third and fourth generations.”

Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

Everything that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I certainly will not cast out.

I will proclaim Your name to my brothers; In the midst of the assembly I will praise You.

‘ I know your deeds. Behold, I have put before you an open door which no one can shut, because you have a little power, and have followed My word, and have not denied My name.

If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you.

My sheep listen to My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me;and I give them eternal life, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.

just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In loveHe predestined us to adoption as sons and daughters through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,to the praise of the glory of His grace, with which He favored us in the Beloved.In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our wrongdoings, according to the riches of His gracewhich He lavished on us. In all wisdom and insightHe made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He set forth in Him,regarding His plan of the fullness of the times, to bring all things together in Christ, things in the heavens and things on the earth.In Him we also have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things in accordance with the plan of His will,

But we should always give thanks to God for you, brothers and sisters beloved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.It was for this He called you through our gospel, that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

‘ I know where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is; and you hold firmly to My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days of Antipas, My witness, My faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.

For wisdom will enter your heart, And knowledge will be delightful to your soul;

Buy truth, and do not sell it, Get wisdom, instruction, and understanding.

You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.

And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that of everything that He has given Me I will lose nothing, but will raise it up on the last day.

I have treasured Your word in my heart, So that I may not sin against You.

No one has seen God at any time; God the only Son, who is in the arms of the Father, He has explained Him.

saying,“ I will proclaim Your name to My brothers, In the midst of the assembly I will sing Your praise.”

If you remain in Me, and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

Hold on to the example of sound words which you have heard from me, in the faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.

God has not rejected His people whom He foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says in the passage about Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel?

But indeed, for this reason I have allowed you to remain, in order to show you My power and in order to proclaim My name throughout the earth.

At that very time He rejoiced greatly in the Holy Spirit, and said,“ I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to infants. Yes, Father, for doing so was well pleasing in Your sight.All things have been handed over to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son determines to reveal Him.”

They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

For God, who said,“ Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

I ask on their behalf; I do not ask on behalf of the world, but on the behalf of those whom You have given Me, because they are Yours;and all things that are Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine; and I have been glorified in them.I am no longer going to be in the world; and yet they themselves are in the world, and I am coming to You. Holy Father, keep them in Your name, the name which You have given Me, so that they may be one just as We are.

My son, if you will receive my words And treasure my commandments within you,Make your ear attentive to wisdom; Incline your heart to understanding.For if you cry out for insight, And raise your voice for understanding;If you seek her as silver And search for her as for hidden treasures;Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, And discover the knowledge of God.

This took place so that the word which He spoke would be fulfilled:“ Of those whom You have given Me I lost not one.”

but Christ was faithful as a Son over His house— whose house we are, if we hold firmly to our confidence and the boast of our hope.

So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him,“ If you continue in My word, then you are truly My disciples;and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters;and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.

I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

God, You have taught me from my youth, And I still declare Your wondrous deeds.And even when I am old and gray, God, do not abandon me, Until I declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to all who are to come.For Your righteousness, God, reaches to the heavens, You who have done great things; God, who is like You?

My son, do not forget my teaching, But have your heart comply with my commandments;For length of days and years of life And peace they will add to you.Do not let kindness and truth leave you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart.So you will find favor and a good reputation In the sight of God and man.
