“ I have manifested your name to the people whom you gave me out of the world. Yours they were, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word.

凡父所拔於世而賜於予之人、予已以父名示之。若輩本屬於父、而父以之賜予、其人皆服膺父之慈訓、

“ I have revealed you to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word.

“ I have shown you to the disciples you gave me out of the world. They were yours. You gave them to me. And they have obeyed your word.

“ I have revealed Your name to the men whom You gave Me out of the world; they were Yours and You gave them to Me, and they have followed Your word.

“ I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word.

I manifested thy name unto the men whom thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them to me; and they have kept thy word.

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.

Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. since you have given him authority over all flesh, to give eternal life to all whom you have given him.

Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory that you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world.

All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out.

even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In lovehe predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will,to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved.In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insightmaking known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christas a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will,

But we ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers beloved by the Lord, because God chose you as the firstfruits to be saved, through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth.To this he called you through our gospel, so that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

“‘ I know where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is. Yet you hold fast my name, and you did not deny my faith even in the days of Antipas my faithful witness, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.

for wisdom will come into your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul;

Buy truth, and do not sell it; buy wisdom, instruction, and understanding.

Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you.

And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day.

I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.

No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father’s side, he has made him known.

saying,“ I will tell of your name to my brothers; in the midst of the congregation I will sing your praise.”

If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

Follow the pattern of the sound words that you have heard from me, in the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.

God has not rejected his people whom he foreknew. Do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he appeals to God against Israel?

But for this purpose I have raised you up, to show you my power, so that my name may be proclaimed in all the earth.

In that same hour he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said,“ I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children; yes, Father, for such was your gracious will.All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, or who the Father is except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”

They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

For God, who said,“ Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

I am praying for them. I am not praying for the world but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours.All mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I am glorified in them.And I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name, which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are one.

My son, if you receive my words and treasure up my commandments with you,making your ear attentive to wisdom and inclining your heart to understanding;yes, if you call out for insight and raise your voice for understanding,if you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures,then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.

but Christ is faithful over God’s house as a son. And we are his house, if indeed we hold fast our confidence and our boasting in our hope.

So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him,“ If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples,and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.

I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

O God, from my youth you have taught me, and I still proclaim your wondrous deeds.So even to old age and gray hairs, O God, do not forsake me, until I proclaim your might to another generation, your power to all those to come.Your righteousness, O God, reaches the high heavens. You who have done great things, O God, who is like you?

My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments,for length of days and years of life and peace they will add to you.Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart.So you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man.
