We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he who is not of God heareth us not. By this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for he giveth not the Spirit by measure.

Awake to soberness righteously, and sin not; for some have no knowledge of God: I speak this to move you to shame.

Work not for the food which perisheth, but for the food which abideth unto eternal life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him the Father, even God, hath sealed.They said therefore unto him, What must we do, that we may work the works of God?Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

For they themselves report concerning us what manner of entering in we had unto you; and how ye turned unto God from idols, to serve a living and true God,

But Jehovah is the true God; he is the living God, and an everlasting King: at his wrath the earth trembleth, and the nations are not able to abide his indignation.

Now for a long season Israel was without the true God, and without a teaching priest, and without law:

As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father; so he that eateth me, he also shall live because of me.

I know him; because I am from him, and he sent me.

which in its own times he shall show, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;who only hath immortality, dwelling in light unapproachable; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and power eternal. Amen.

For I spake not from myself; but the Father that sent me, he hath given me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.And I know that his commandment is life eternal; the things therefore which I speak, even as the Father hath said unto me, so I speak.

say ye of him, whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

They said therefore unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye know neither me, nor my Father: if ye knew me, ye would know my Father also.

Jesus answered, If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing: it is my Father that glorifieth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God;and ye have not known him: but I know him; and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be like unto you, a liar: but I know him, and keep his word.

And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee; For thou, Jehovah, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the multitude that standeth around I said it, that they may believe that thou didst send me.

Whosoever shall receive one of such little children in my name, receiveth me: and whosoever receiveth me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me.

and said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this little child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same is great.

How can ye believe, who receive glory one of another, and the glory that cometh from the only God ye seek not?

But the witness which I have is greater than that of John; for the works which the Father hath given me to accomplish, the very works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.And the Father that sent me, he hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his form.

Concerning therefore the eating of things sacrificed to idols, we know that no idol is anything in the world, and that there is no God but one.
