And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.

For God, who said,“ Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.

granting an inheritance to those who love me, and filling their treasuries.“ The Lord possessed me at the beginning of his work, the first of his acts of old.Ages ago I was set up, at the first, before the beginning of the earth.When there were no depths I was brought forth, when there were no springs abounding with water.Before the mountains had been shaped, before the hills, I was brought forth,before he had made the earth with its fields, or the first of the dust of the world.When he established the heavens, I was there; when he drew a circle on the face of the deep,when he made firm the skies above, when he established the fountains of the deep,when he assigned to the sea its limit, so that the waters might not transgress his command, when he marked out the foundations of the earth,then I was beside him, like a master workman, and I was daily his delight, rejoicing before him always,rejoicing in his inhabited world and delighting in the children of man.

Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.

Then the King will say to those on his right,‘ Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known.

The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.

And I saw no temple in the city, for its temple is the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb.

I am hard pressed between the two. My desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far better.

Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.

“ You are those who have stayed with me in my trials,and I assign to you, as my Father assigned to me, a kingdom,that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

I tell you I will not drink again of this fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.”

Blessed are those servants whom the master finds awake when he comes. Truly, I say to you, he will dress himself for service and have them recline at table, and he will come and serve them.

His master said to him,‘ Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’

I said to him,“ Sir, you know.” And he said to me,“ These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.“ Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will shelter them with his presence.They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any scorching heat.For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
