I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one—

I have given them the glory you gave me. I did this so they would be one, just as we are one.

The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one,

“ I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one.

I have given them the glory you have given me, so that they may be one as we are one.

And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:

And the glory which thou hast given me I have given unto them; that they may be one, even as we are one;

I have given them the glory You have given Me. May they be one as We are one.

But we all, with unveiled faces, looking as in a mirror at the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.

On that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you are in Me, and I in you.

For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace.

The one who keeps His commandments remains in Him, and He in him. We know by this that He remains in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.

These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues;they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not harm them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”So then, when the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them, and confirmed the word by the signs that followed.]][[ And they promptly reported all these instructions to Peter and his companions. And after that, Jesus Himself also sent out through them from east to west the sacred and imperishable proclamation of eternal salvation.]]

And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us; and we saw His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

what we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ.

So Jesus said to them again,“ Peace be to you; just as the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”And when He had said this, He breathed on them and* said to them,“ Receive the Holy Spirit.If you forgive the sins of any, their sins have been forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they have been retained.”

So they went on their way from the presence of the Council, rejoicing that they had been considered worthy to suffer shame for His name.

And He* summoned the twelve and began to send them out in pairs, and gave them authority over the unclean spirits;

And working together with Him, we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain—

“ If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you.If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you.

having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the cornerstone,

Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

But I have written very boldly to you on some points so as to remind you again, because of the grace that was given to me from God,to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, ministering as a priest the gospel of God, so that my offering of the Gentiles may become acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.Therefore in Christ Jesus I have found reason for boasting in things pertaining to God.For I will not presume to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me, resulting in the obedience of the Gentiles by word and deed,in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Spirit; so that from Jerusalem and all around as far as Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.And in this way I aspired to preach the gospel, not where Christ was already known by name, so that I would not build on another person’s foundation;

This is a plain indication of God’s righteous judgment so that you will be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you indeed are suffering.For after all it is only right for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you,and to give relief to you who are afflicted, along with us, when the Lord Jesus will be revealed from heaven with His mighty angelsin flaming fire, dealing out retribution to those who do not know God, and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.These people will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,when He comes to be glorified among His saints on that day, and to be marveled at among all who have believed— because our testimony to you was believed.

And the wall of the city had twelve foundation stones, and on them were the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

For to you it has been granted for Christ’s sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer on His behalf,

Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I am supplementing what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions in behalf of His body, which is the church.
