I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one—

I have given them the glory you gave me. I did this so they would be one, just as we are one.

The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one,

But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord the Spirit.

In that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

For of his fulness we all received, and grace for grace.

And he that keepeth his commandments abideth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he gave us.

And these signs shall accompany them that believe: in my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues;they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall in no wise hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken unto them, was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word by the signs that followed. Amen.

And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us( and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth.

that which we have seen and heard declare we unto you also, that ye also may have fellowship with us: yea, and our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ:

Jesus therefore said to them again, Peace be unto you: as the Father hath sent me, even so send I you.And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Spirit:whose soever sins ye forgive, they are forgiven unto them; whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

They therefore departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer dishonor for the Name.

And he calleth unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and he gave them authority over the unclean spirits;

And working together with him we entreat also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain

If the world hateth you, ye know that it hath hated me before it hated you.If ye were of the world, the world would love its own: but because ye are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

being built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the chief corner stone;

We are ambassadors therefore on behalf of Christ, as though God were entreating by us: we beseech you on behalf of Christ, be ye reconciled to God.

that ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom; and ye shall sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

But I write the more boldly unto you in some measure, as putting you again in remembrance, because of the grace that was given me of God,that I should be a minister of Christ Jesus unto the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be made acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Spirit.I have therefore my glorying in Christ Jesus in things pertaining to God.For I will not dare to speak of any things save those which Christ wrought through me, for the obedience of the Gentiles, by word and deed,in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Holy Spirit; so that from Jerusalem, and round about even unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ;yea, making it my aim so to preach the gospel, not where Christ was already named, that I might not build upon another man’s foundation;

which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God; to the end that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:if so be that it is a righteous thing with God to recompense affliction to them that afflict you,and to you that are afflicted rest with us, at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with the angels of his power in flaming fire,rendering vengeance to them that know not God, and to them that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus:who shall suffer punishment, even eternal destruction from the face of the Lord and from the glory of his might,when he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be marvelled at in all them that believed( because our testimony unto you was believed) in that day.

And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

because to you it hath been granted in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer in his behalf:

Father, I desire that they also whom thou hast given me be with me where I am, that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and fill up on my part that which is lacking of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the church;
