『我不單為這些人求，也為那些因他們的話而信我的人求；

我不僅為彼祈、亦為因其言而信我者祈、

我不第為此人祈、乃為聽其言而信我者祈、

我不獨為此人祈、兼為聽其言而信我者祈、

予不第為彼等求、亦為耹彼等之言、而置信於予者求焉。

“ I am not praying only on their behalf, but also on behalf of those who believe in me through their testimony,

Not for these only do I pray, but for those also who will believe in me through their word,

So those who accepted his message were baptized, and that day about 3,000 people were added to them.

But many of those who heard the message believed, and the number of the men came to about 5,000.

I have revealed Your name to the men You gave Me from the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word.Now they know that all things You have given to Me are from You,because the words that You gave Me, I have given them. They have received them and have known for certain that I came from You. They have believed that You sent Me.I pray for them. I am not praying for the world but for those You have given Me, because they are Yours.Everything I have is Yours, and everything You have is Mine, and I have been glorified in them.I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to You. Holy Father, protect them by Your name that You have given Me, so that they may be one as We are one.

For I would not dare say anything except what Christ has accomplished through me to make the Gentiles obedient by word and deed,by the power of miraculous signs and wonders, and by the power of God’s Spirit.
