世人不能恨你們，卻是恨我，因為我指證他們所做的事是惡的。

為非作歹的，被義人憎嫌；行事正直的，被惡人憎惡。

一月之內，我除滅三個牧人，因為我的心厭煩他們；他們的心也憎嫌我。

學生不能高過先生；僕人不能高過主人。學生和先生一樣，僕人和主人一樣，也就罷了。人既罵家主是別西卜，何況他的家人呢？」

我又要叫你和女人彼此為仇；你的後裔和女人的後裔也彼此為仇。女人的後裔要傷你的頭；你要傷他的腳跟。

他們在這些事上，見你們不與他們同奔那放蕩無度的路，就以為怪，毀謗你們。他們必在那將要審判活人死人的主面前交帳。
