that they will all be one, just as you, Father, are in me and I am in you. I pray that they will be in us, so that the world will believe that you sent me.The glory you gave to me I have given to them, that they may be one just as we are one–

For Christ did not enter a sanctuary made with hands– the representation of the true sanctuary– but into heaven itself, and he appears now in God’s presence for us.

My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one can snatch them from my Father’s hand.The Father and I are one.”

Just before the Passover Feast, Jesus knew that his time had come to depart from this world to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he now loved them to the very end.

There is one body and one Spirit, just as you too were called to the one hope of your calling,

Righteous Father, even if the world does not know you, I know you, and these men know that you sent me.

so we who are many are one body in Christ, and individually we are members who belong to one another.

Adulterers, do you not know that friendship with the world means hostility toward God? So whoever decides to be the world’s friend makes himself God’s enemy.

“ I am sending you out like sheep surrounded by wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.

Because Jesus knew that the Father had handed all things over to him, and that he had come from God and was going back to God,

Each one of the four living creatures had six wings and was full of eyes all around and inside. They never rest day or night, saying:“ Holy Holy Holy is the Lord God, the All- Powerful, Who was and who is, and who is still to come!”

For just as the body is one and yet has many members, and all the members of the body– though many– are one body, so too is Christ.For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body. Whether Jews or Greeks or slaves or free, we were all made to drink of the one Spirit.

So then, be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Help us, O God, our deliverer! For the sake of your glorious reputation, rescue us! Forgive our sins for the sake of your reputation!

Now may the God of endurance and comfort give you unity with one another in accordance with Christ Jesus,so that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

You will know at that time that I am in my Father and you are in me and I am in you.

Then Jesus said,“ I will be with you for only a little while longer, and then I am going to the one who sent me.

Then you will know that I am the LORD, when I deal with you for the sake of my reputation and not according to your wicked conduct and corrupt deeds, O house of Israel, declares the sovereign LORD.’”

For the honor of your name, do not treat Jerusalem with contempt. Do not treat with disdain the place where your glorious throne sits. Be mindful of your covenant with us. Do not break it!

I came from the Father and entered into the world, but in turn, I am leaving the world and going back to the Father.”

“ If the world hates you, be aware that it hated me first.If you belonged to the world, the world would love you as its own. However, because you do not belong to the world, but I chose you out of the world, for this reason the world hates you.Remember what I told you,‘ A slave is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they obeyed my word, they will obey yours too.But they will do all these things to you on account of my name, because they do not know the one who sent me.

I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to agree together, to end your divisions, and to be united by the same mind and purpose.

Protect me as you would protect the pupil of your eye! Hide me in the shadow of your wings!Protect me from the wicked men who attack me, my enemies who crowd around me for the kill.

I acted for the sake of my reputation, so that I would not be profaned before the nations among whom they lived, before whom I revealed myself by bringing them out of the land of Egypt.

I, the LORD, protect it; I water it regularly. I guard it night and day, so no one can harm it.

The Son is the radiance of his glory and the representation of his essence, and he sustains all things by his powerful word, and so when he had accomplished cleansing for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.

After he had said this, while they were watching, he was lifted up and a cloud hid him from their sight.As they were still staring into the sky while he was going, suddenly two men in white clothing stood near themand said,“ Men of Galilee, why do you stand here looking up into the sky? This same Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven will come back in the same way you saw him go into heaven.”

Then I said,“ O LORD, intervene for the honor of your name even though our sins speak out against us. Indeed, we have turned away from you many times. We have sinned against you.

who by God’s power are protected through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

But I refrained from doing so, and acted instead for the sake of my reputation, so that I would not be profaned before the nations in whose sight I had brought them out.

This one heaven must receive until the time all things are restored, which God declared from times long ago through his holy prophets.

Now to the one who is able to keep you from falling, and to cause you to stand, rejoicing, without blemish before his glorious presence,

but, like the Holy One who called you, become holy yourselves in all of your conduct,for it is written,“ You shall be holy, because I am holy.”And if you address as Father the one who impartially judges according to each one’s work, live out the time of your temporary residence here in reverence.

Who will not fear you, O Lord, and glorify your name, because you alone are holy? All nations will come and worship before you for your righteous acts have been revealed.”

His eyes are like a fiery flame and there are many diadem crowns on his head. He has a name written that no one knows except himself.

I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble and suffering, but take courage– I have conquered the world.”
