on that day when he comes to be glorified by his saints and to be marveled at by all those who have believed, because our testimony among you was believed.

When he took the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and golden bowls filled with incense, which are the prayers of the saints.And they sang a new song: You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slaughtered, and you purchased people for God by your blood from every tribe and language and people and nation.You made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they will reign on the earth.Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels around the throne, and also of the living creatures and of the elders. Their number was countless thousands, plus thousands of thousands.They said with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb who was slaughtered to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing!I heard every creature in heaven, on earth, under the earth, on the sea, and everything in them say, Blessing and honor and glory and power be to the one seated on the throne, and to the Lamb, forever and ever!The four living creatures said,“ Amen,” and the elders fell down and worshiped.

so that the name of our Lord Jesus will be glorified by you, and you by him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

so that all people may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Anyone who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.

So let no one boast in human leaders, for everything is yours—whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or things present or things to come— everything is yours,and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God.

And they glorified God because of me.

For the entire fullness of God’s nature dwells bodily in Christ,

He will glorify me, because he will take from what is mine and declare it to you.Everything the Father has is mine. This is why I told you that he takes from what is mine and will declare it to you.

When Jesus heard it, he said,“ This sickness will not end in death but is for the glory of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified through it.”

When this became known to everyone who lived in Ephesus, both Jews and Greeks, they became afraid, and the name of the Lord Jesus was held in high esteem.

Jesus replied to them,“ The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.

My eager expectation and hope is that I will not be ashamed about anything, but that now as always, with all courage, Christ will be highly honored in my body, whether by life or by death.

For this reason God highly exalted him and gave him the name that is above every name,so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow— in heaven and on earth and under the earth—and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
