“ You are from below,” He told them,“ I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.Therefore I told you that you will die in your sins. For if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.”

Watch out, brothers, so that there won’t be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart that departs from the living God.

And you are not willing to come to Me so that you may have life.“ I do not accept glory from men,but I know you— that you have no love for God within you.I have come in My Father’s name, yet you don’t accept Me. If someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him.How can you believe? While accepting glory from one another, you don’t seek the glory that comes from the only God.

They even killed those who announced beforehand the coming of the Righteous One, whose betrayers and murderers you have now become.You received the law under the direction of angels and yet have not kept it.”When they heard these things, they were enraged in their hearts and gnashed their teeth at him.
