Yet, because I have spoken these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart.

Rather, you are filled with grief because I have said these things.

Instead, you are filled with sadness because I have said these things.

But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart.

Instead, you grieve because of what I’ve told you.

Yet, because I have spoken these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart.

But because I have said these things to you, grief has filled your heart.

But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart.

But because I have spoken these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart.

But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart.

Instead your hearts are filled with sadness because I have said these things to you.

But because I have told you these things, sorrow has filled your heart.

“ Your heart must not be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in Me.

“ I assure you: You will weep and wail, but the world will rejoice. You will become sorrowful, but your sorrow will turn to joy.When a woman is in labor she has pain because her time has come. But when she has given birth to a child, she no longer remembers the suffering because of the joy that a person has been born into the world.So you also have sorrow now. But I will see you again. Your hearts will rejoice, and no one will rob you of your joy.

Then He asked them,“ What is this dispute that you’re having with each other as you are walking?” And they stopped walking and looked discouraged.

But Mary stood outside facing the tomb, crying. As she was crying, she stooped to look into the tomb.She saw two angels in white sitting there, one at the head and one at the feet, where Jesus’ body had been lying.They said to her,“ Woman, why are you crying?”“ Because they’ve taken away my Lord,” she told them,“ and I don’t know where they’ve put Him.”Having said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, though she did not know it was Jesus.“ Woman,” Jesus said to her,“ why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?” Supposing He was the gardener, she replied,“ Sir, if you’ve removed Him, tell me where you’ve put Him, and I will take Him away.”

“ Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Your heart must not be troubled or fearful.You have heard Me tell you,‘ I am going away and I am coming to you.’ If you loved Me, you would have rejoiced that I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I.

When He got up from prayer and came to the disciples, He found them sleeping, exhausted from their grief.
