“ But now I go away to Him who sent Me, and none of you asks Me,‘ Where are You going?’

but now I am going to him who sent me. None of you asks me,‘ Where are you going?’

But now I go unto him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou?

Simon Peter said to Him,“ Lord, where are You going?” Jesus answered him,“ Where I am going you cannot follow Me now, but you shall follow Me afterward.”

Then Jesus said to them,“ I shall be with you a little while longer, and then I go to Him who sent Me.

of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more;

But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift.Therefore He says:“ When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, And gave gifts to men.”( Now this,“ He ascended”— what does it mean but that He also first descended into the lower parts of the earth?He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.)And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,

I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do.

I came forth from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father.”

Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come from God and was going to God,

And where I go you know, and the way you know.”Thomas said to Him,“ Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?”Jesus said to him,“ I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

You have heard Me say to you,‘ I am going away and coming back to you.’ If you loved Me, you would rejoice because I said,‘ I am going to the Father,’ for My Father is greater than I.

“ A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me, because I go to the Father.”

What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before?

But now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves.
