Jesus knew that the Father had given everything into his hands, that he had come from God, and that he was going back to God.

You know the way to where I am going.”“ Lord,” Thomas said,“ we don’t know where you’re going. How can we know the way?”Jesus told him,“ I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact expression of his nature, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.

keeping our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith. For the joy that lay before him, he endured the cross, despising the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

You have heard me tell you,‘ I am going away and I am coming to you.’ If you loved me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I.

“ In a little while, you will no longer see me; again in a little while, you will see me.”

Then what if you were to observe the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?
