These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

予以此語爾、俾爾因予而得平安。爾在人世、固有患難、惟勿因是而餒、予已克勝人世矣。』

Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord[ be] with you all.

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;

Great[ is] my boldness of speech toward you, great[ is] my glorying of you: I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation.

For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition[ between us];Having abolished in his flesh the enmity,[ even] the law of commandments[ contained] in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man,[ so] making peace;And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.Of the increase of[ his] government and peace[ there shall be] no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace;

Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

Therefore David ran, and stood upon the Philistine, and took his sword, and drew it out of the sheath thereof, and slew him, and cut off his head therewith. And when the Philistines saw their champion was dead, they fled.And the men of Israel and of Judah arose, and shouted, and pursued the Philistines, until thou come to the valley, and to the gates of Ekron. And the wounded of the Philistines fell down by the way to Shaaraim, even unto Gath, and unto Ekron.
