In that day you will not ask Me anything.“ I assure you: Anything you ask the Father in My name, He will give you.

當日、爾曹無所問我、我誠告爾、凡托我名求父、父必賜爾、

當斯日爾曹無所問於我、我誠告爾、凡爾託我名求於父者、父必賜爾、

是日爾將無所問於予矣。予切實語爾爾有所祈於父、父必以予名義、賜之於爾。

In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.

When that day comes, you will no longer ask me for anything. What I’m about to tell you is true. My Father will give you anything you ask for in my name.

In that day you will ask nothing of me. Truly, truly, I say to you, whatever you ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you.

At that time you won’t need to ask me for anything. I tell you the truth, you will ask the Father directly, and he will grant your request because you use my name.

“ In that day you will not ask me anything. Truly I tell you, anything you ask the Father in my name, he will give you.

And on that day you will not question Me about anything. Truly, truly I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you.

“ And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you.

And in that day ye shall ask me no question. Verily, verily, I say unto you, If ye shall ask anything of the Father, he will give it you in my name.

And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give[ it] you.

At that time you will ask me nothing. I tell you the solemn truth, whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you.

“ In that day you will ask me no questions. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you.

If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you want and it will be done for you.

Now this is the confidence we have before Him: Whenever we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.And if we know that He hears whatever we ask, we know that we have what we have asked Him for.If anyone sees his brother committing a sin that does not bring death, he should ask, and God will give life to him— to those who commit sin that doesn’t bring death. There is sin that brings death. I am not saying he should pray about that.

And if you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”

Even before they call, I will answer; while they are still speaking, I will hear.

Whatever you ask in My name, I will do it so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.

Therefore, brothers, since we have boldness to enter the sanctuary through the blood of Jesus,by a new and living way He has opened for us through the curtain( that is, His flesh),and since we have a great high priest over the house of God,let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed in pure water.Let us hold on to the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

In that day you will know that I am in My Father, you are in Me, and I am in you.

“ Keep asking, and it will be given to you. Keep searching, and you will find. Keep knocking, and the door will be opened to you.

In that day you will ask in My name. I am not telling you that I will make requests to the Father on your behalf.

I do not call you slaves anymore, because a slave doesn’t know what his master is doing. I have called you friends, because I have made known to you everything I have heard from My Father.You did not choose Me, but I chose you. I appointed you that you should go out and produce fruit and that your fruit should remain, so that whatever you ask the Father in My name, He will give you.

Jesus knew they wanted to question Him, so He said to them,“ Are you asking one another about what I said,‘ A little while and you will not see Me; again a little while and you will see Me’?

“ Lord,” Simon Peter said to Him,“ where are You going?” Jesus answered,“ Where I am going you cannot follow Me now, but you will follow later.”“ Lord,” Peter asked,“ why can’t I follow You now? I will lay down my life for You!”

My little children, I am writing you these things so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father— Jesus Christ the Righteous One.

For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

For this reason I kneel before the Fatherfrom whom every family in heaven and on earth is named.I pray that He may grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power in the inner man through His Spirit,and that the Messiah may dwell in your hearts through faith. I pray that you, being rooted and firmly established in love,may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the length and width, height and depth of God’s love,and to know the Messiah’s love that surpasses knowledge, so you may be filled with all the fullness of God.Now to Him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us—

“ Lord,” Thomas said,“ we don’t know where You’re going. How can we know the way?”

Judas( not Iscariot) said to Him,“ Lord, how is it You’re going to reveal Yourself to us and not to the world?”

Therefore, He is always able to save those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to intercede for them.For this is the kind of high priest we need: holy, innocent, undefiled, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens.

Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens— Jesus the Son of God— let us hold fast to the confession.For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tested in every way as we are, yet without sin.Therefore let us approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us at the proper time.

Now we know that You know everything and don’t need anyone to question You. By this we believe that You came from God.”

For there is one God and one mediator between God and humanity, Christ Jesus, Himself human,who gave Himself— a ransom for all, a testimony at the proper time.

So Peter turned around and saw the disciple Jesus loved following them. That disciple was the one who had leaned back against Jesus at the supper and asked,“ Lord, who is the one that’s going to betray You?”When Peter saw him, he said to Jesus,“ Lord— what about him?”
