And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.

So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.

That’s the way it is with you. Now it’s your time to be sad. But I will see you again. Then you will be full of joy. And no one will take away your joy.

So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you.

And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this[ is] our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this[ is] the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given[ us] everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy[ are ye]; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

Then the same day at evening, being the first[ day] of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace[ be] unto you.And when he had so said, he shewed unto them[ his] hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord.

That by two immutable things, in which[ it was] impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat?

But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

Therefore, brethren, we were comforted over you in all our affliction and distress by your faith:For now we live, if ye stand fast in the Lord.For what thanks can we render to God again for you, for all the joy wherewith we joy for your sakes before our God;

A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.

Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.

Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither[ shall] fruit[ be] in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and[ there shall be] no herd in the stalls:Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.

But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?[ shall] tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy[ shall be] upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy;[ and] sorrow and mourning shall flee away.I,[ even] I,[ am] he that comforteth you: who[ art] thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man[ that] shall die, and of the son of man[ which] shall be made[ as] grass;

Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut[ the womb]? saith thy God.Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her:That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon[ her] sides, and be dandled upon[ her] knees.As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.And when ye see[ this], your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and[ his] indignation toward his enemies.

Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt[ his] fisher’s coat[ unto him],( for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.

And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.

And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.

Behold, God[ is] my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH[ is] my strength and[ my] song; he also is become my salvation.Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.

And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.

For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.

And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.

But be ye glad and rejoice for ever[ in that] which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed:Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit.

When he giveth quietness, who then can make trouble? and when he hideth[ his] face, who then can behold him? whether[ it be done] against a nation, or against a man only:

For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him.
